Just a note on the treatment of those visiting the Amex in future :-

Please please communicate with us all properly, it's not good form to make the following assumptions..

1) Brighton can give out as many tickets as they feel inclined for a dedicated ''away'' stand. n.b. there are rules concerning 'away' allocations in the npower Championship.
2) Brighton can't assume that EVERY away supporter travels by coach. Every club have both supporters that live in the vacinity of your club or might choose to have weekends in your city that would usually necessitate train/car travel.
3) Brighton should inform 'away' fans and their clubs of parking arrangements. This is common decency to guests .
4) Brighton should never state that they hadn't taken arrangements for 'away' supporters into consideration. This is clearly a huge oversight verging on the disrespectful.
5) Brighton should let the 'away' club know of any changes and updates on ticket arrangements in good time. Again good manners.

Now I understand that it's a new stadium (with years of planning gone into it) and there may have been oversights but please please sort this out for everyone's sake.
It's a beautiful stadium, in a lovely city ..........don't spoil it for others as I fear you have spoilt it for many of our supporters. We at Doncaster Rovers are usually treated with respect whenever we travel by the home support, home club and the police and stewards.
On this occasion we have been treated like tramps knocking on the door of your mansion. We don't deserve that and I really hope that this a teething problem.
Cue the defensive posturing and abuse..............RTID

This is the very FIRST competetive game, for goodness sake. It is unreasonable to expect all issues to be perfect. I am sure the club have not gone out of their way to treat Donny fans like 'tramps knocking on the door'. There has been an awful lot to sort out, including arrangements for the sale of home tickets (much more important to sort out the home fans than the away fans IMHO).

Regarding parking and transport issues, that is not something which is just affecting away fans, it is an ongoing issue which the club are in the process of sorting out. Again, it is something which is going to take a few matches to iron out. As you say, most likely teething problems.

Who the f*** are you to tell us what to do ?? What does Doncaster Rovers do for travelling fans that we don't ? You'll get treated with the respect you deserve and based on your post it isn't much.

I fully agree. We should be more respectful to away fans - even if they are flat cap wearing, pigeon breeding, whippet owning, gravy drinking northern monkeys!

Is this all Brightons fault? The ticket lady at your club said you only requested 1500 tickets and we only sent 1000. Then mentioned that all clubs do this. Im not saying this is Donny's fault, but at the moment it sounds like speculation. On ask the club the insider advised that it is down to the away club to decide what they do with the allocation.

But on the travel arrangements, I will probably agree with you. There is still Brighton fans not sure what to do, but being a new stadium you will have to accept the fact that we will still have some teething problems.

Look, we have no disrespect for anyone other than those Pikeys from Croydon.... but if this wasn't the start of the season and a new stadium, you would only have about 500-700 here at best.

Our club is doing its best in this initial phase, some things need tweaking, so please wind your neck in and get on with the season.

Having read this a second time, it does sound like a COLOSSAL winge. It also sounds like a load of nonsense, to be honest. Dealing with your points in order:

1. This doesn't make sense. Albion seem to have ticketed this game effectively, giving blocks of tickets. There was no point giving you all the tickets in one go as it was not going to be a guaranteed sell out.

2. The club haven't. What is preventing you and your fellow Donny fans from catching the train to Falmer?

3. Parking is an issue which hasn't been fully sorted for home fans yet, and they are much more important than away fans.

4. f*** off.

5. I can't believe the club haven't kept Donny informed of arrangements and ticket details, this just wouldn't be the case.

Instead of wasting time posting this on here, why don't you post it on 'ask the club' where you may get an answer.

Clearly this is a 'pop' at Brighton supporters and will no doubt get the response you are looking for certain quarters.

You are beginning to come across as a whinging bore. You've made your point to this site; we (supporters on a message board) cannot do anything; officially complain to BHAFC if you want answers. As has been previously stated, the logistics re this venture have been huge with loads of teething problems.

I hope that you and all the other Donny fans enjoy the game on Saturday and have a great weekend in Sussex.

Mate, I'm getting bored with reading your ramblings. As stated it's a new stadium and their are going to be teething problems, we have ticket issues for just about every major game and our stadium is 3 years old.
It was announced when the tickets went on sale that we had 1000 tickets, you should have secured one then, its that simple. If you don't have a season ticket then that's the gamble you take with reduced allocations. The last 2 visits to Brighton we have had 800 ish allocations and not sold out, this year your unlucky, just stop moaning at these people who on the whole have wanted us to have the full allocation from day 1.

I'm not sure if you are being serious, on a wind up 'fishing' trip, or a bit of both. Nevertheless, I think it is fair to say that as the first set of fans to a competetive game, your lot are guinea pigs. The club is still learning about the stadium, as are most of us (home fans). I can't help but think that if you are serious, the club will probably apprieciate your feedback - the email addresses are on the official site.

 Enjoy Saturday, I hope you lose - no offence, like.
