Isn't more than one keeper against the rules? I fear we'd be giving away a lot of penalties, and getting a lot of red cards.

I think he's suggesting rush keepers on rotation, not monkey rush :lolol:

(Did everyone call it Monkey Rush?)

Team News:

De Zerbi looking to pick a team as close to next season’s 11 as possible.

Ferguson back.

So Colwill and Mac miss out for the same reasons Joao Pedro no longer plays for Watford.

Welbeck was brilliant as a number 10 against Wolves so keeps his position. Same with Enciso and Gilmour.

Mitoma is the best substitute at the football club. He can change everything. I think he’ll start on the bench again. That option gives RDZ exactly what he needed (but didn’t have) at Wembley.

weirdly I’ve been told Ferguson is touch and go for the bench. But my source has been wrong before!!!

Assuming Veltman is out, I guess the only real decisions are...

Webster or Colwill
Enciso or Gilmour

Steele
Groß - Webster - Dunk - Estupinan
Caicedo - Mac Allister
March - Enciso - Mitoma
Welbeck
I’d go the same but pop Solly on the bench for Undav. Go 4-2-2-2 and bring Solly on late in the game to bang in a winner!

If Veltman is out, and Ferguson is fit enough, I would go with this.

Groß —- Webster —— Dunk —- Estupinian
————- Caceido —— Gilmour —— ——
March ————Mac Allister ———Enciso
——————— Ferguson ———————

Steele
Groß Dunk Webster Estupiñán
Caiceido Mac*
March Enciso Mitoma
Welbeck

*or maybe Gilmour, I'm torn!
Ferguson to make an impact from the bench

Regardless, I'll trust what Il Piccolo Genio goes with.

I'd like to think I could get to sing this at some point.

Offiah's on Fire your attack is neutralised.

Could he slot in at RB, can't say I've seen him play there before but have seen him as a LWB and CB.

I'm grasping at straws but he must be close to getting some minutes before long.

Just shows how valuable a player Veltman has been, very hard to replace, definitely weaker without him.

I'd be tempted to play Gilmour over Ali Mac.

To a certain extent Ali Mac hasn't been at his best since the WC and almost certainly off this summer. Gilmour has it all to prove as show yesterday.

Steele
Gross Webster Dunk Pervis
Gilmour Caicedo
March Enciso Mitoma
Welbeck
Imagine a club where even suggesting dropping a WC winner for a 21 yo with barely a PL start is met with mostly……..’yeah, not a bad idea’

Don't think you can drop Gilmour.
Totally agree.

It also makes no sense to drop him. One of the other two CMs is going to be sold this summer and Gilmour has just played himself into the manager's plans for next season. He's also just played probably his best professional league game.

There is absolutely no sensible reason to drop him.
