Absolutely ****ing disgusting sell out.

Last home game of the season and they cop out to earn a few quid from SKY.

They will regret it as the crowd will be reduced due to it being on a Friday, and on TV.

From a biased, personal perspective I can't get to Brighton before about 8 on a Friday, so we now miss the last home game so that Barber can earn a bit of extra TV cash.

Wanker!

So far I have supported his commercialisation of the club, now he can **** right off.

Does the club have any say in the matter, or are they just told " Your game has been selected for the Friday night match" and they have to go along with it?

They have complete control.

But choose to sell out.

Is the right answer, talk about anger management courses being needed

Loads of swearing.

Last home game should be on a Saturday.

If I had Sky Sports and let's say Blackpool v Yeovil was live on Sky on a Friday evening I wouldn't watch it.

Just out of curiosity, how do we know that it is the club that decide whether or not to allow these, or that it is just the Football League who make the agreements...after all, it is they who decide the fixture list in the first instance?

It's the short notice that gets me.

Yes, I know we are slaves to the beast that is SKY, but surely they, and the club, may have thought that many of us have other arrangements on a Friday evening just a month away.

Personally i can make the game on a Friday night but i am disappointed that it is not on a Saturday.
The last home game with the chance that it could secure a play off place, so more might stay until the end if it the game was on a knife edge. I would imagine that many fans (especially those with children) might have stayed behind on the Saturday, many would not leave on 80mins, and many would stay behind to watch the players/their children/the coaching staff/the rest of the squad come out at the end of the game and do a lap of the pitch.
The season will end on a whimper with the ground nearly empty on 90mins.
As normal i will stay until the end, but many (for more reasons than on a Saturday) will not.

This........if we have no chance of making the playoffs and god forbid we are 2-0 down , can see plenty leaving early and sky will be broadcasting this around the world !

This is my issue.

I wait as long as I dare before trying to get cheap(ish) train tickets. Last week I lashed out nearly £40 for tickets to get to the Yeovil game on Saturday. Now I can't use them, nor get to the game on Friday.

Not for the first time this season either.

It's just crap.

The club don't care anymore.

Wouldn't have thought the away attendance will be high either as it's on a Friday unless they take the day off work and stay in Brighton until Saturday which will mean a huge cost to their fans.

friday afternoon off and drive after ..with a saturday to get over the late night...its not too bad a journey ......but more importantly it depends how much is resting on the game..if they still have a chance of staying up i bet they will get what they would have on the saturday ...mind you you noticed what the size of the home crowd is ...the guy down there is working a miracle on the budget he must have
