friday afternoon off and drive after ..with a saturday to get over the late night...its not too bad a journey ......but more importantly it depends how much is resting on the game..if they still have a chance of staying up i bet they will get what they would have on the saturday ...mind you you noticed what the size of the home crowd is ...the guy down there is working a miracle on the budget he must have

The home crowd will be lower.
The bars will be empty at the end, so will the shop.

The money we make from TV will not compensate for the loss of sales.

And they have really damaged their image with lots of fans again.

Absolutely ****ing disgusting sell out.

Last home game of the season and they cop out to earn a few quid from SKY.

They will regret it as the crowd will be reduced due to it being on a Friday, and on TV.

From a biased, personal perspective I can't get to Brighton before about 8 on a Friday, so we now miss the last home game so that Barber can earn a bit of extra TV cash.

Wanker!

So far I have supported his commercialisation of the club, now he can **** right off.

I'm as *%^&*(*d off about it as you and many others, but the club has virtually no say. Nothing to do with Barber or anyone else at the club. Like all League clubs, they are signatories to the TV deal and reap the benefits. If Rupert Murdoch says "jump", the only question asked by the clubs is "how high"? They can't refuse to move a game.

The only people who can object about a game being moved are the Police if they suspect it could cause potential public order or other operational issues.

But it's nothing to do with us is it if sky choose to show us?

We have train tickets booked @ £120 and a hotel @ £216

To move it at all is shite, but to be moving the last home game of the season is unacceptable.

Not really, no. The people who moan about other teams being on TV are the type who trawl the internet looking for perceived slights against their team. Strange that we have them, as they normally seem to follow Liverpool, Arsenal and 'United'. Couldn't give a toss what they think, and ignore their whinging about 'unfair' coverage, etc.

I would, however, like to be able to go to the odd football match at 3pm on a Saturday, and reserve the right to get pissed off at constantly changing kickoff times.

Regarding the decision to put the game on Sky, I thought we had no say in the matter. If the club has actively helped bring this about then everybody out!
