Brighton factually.....
It’s a real shame the majority of fans will probably not got to see a full season of young Ben in the stripes. I think his agent is behind the push for a move whispering sweet pound signs in his ear. Another season in the Premier League, he may also push himself into the England 1st team and his value will increase yet again. It’s not beyond imagination that he could be worth 70 million or more next year.

Take 50 million now, hmmm if it is a bulky lump sum up front 80-90% with add on’s and a good percentage sell on clause (you would be mad not to) then ok at this point in time and to save on unrest in the camp if he wants to go, it would make sense to take the offer, especially if we get a player in return maybe a loan, I don’t want to be fobbed off with 35 million cash and an unproven player in their academy that has potential, as they could prove a busted flush and they have an Ace, not a good deal.

I wish him well, and would rather he stayed a year, so we as fans can truly appreciate him.

Drive him there, nope.

Fukk no.

If it is true that prices are suppressed because of Covid, I'd rather wait to see what he could for later.

Lots of speculation and debate around a) how much Albion are prepared to accept b) how much suitors are prepared to pay, but very little about what Ben White really wants. Players and agents these days have a huge amount clout when it comes to wheeling and dealing and frankly if White is ambivalent about a move then Bloom can put on his very best poker face and push for say £60m, which may explain the lack of movement so far. My impression is White is absolutely not in any rush to leave the club. He has never struck me as a cash-seeking geezer….seems grounded and knows there will be countless opportunities for the big moves over the next few years….

We get 50 million and Reiss Nelson. would even take 40 million and Reiss Nelson. If there is one thing BHA is good at making its defenders so I'm not stressed either way to be honest.

Hard to say. It depends on what signings the club intend to make and if they are dependent on selling White. He fits in so well with our style of play and will be a big miss. I'd feel much happier if I heard he was staying, so I'll vote no.

and going to arsenal is good for us as if he played well and a bigger club comes in for him we would have a sell on, where as if he signed for city or man u for 50m he properly wouldn't move from there

Only if we donate at least £40m of it to Bielsa. It’s the least we can do.

I know Ben wants to better himself and good luck to him. I wish him every success. I do firmly believe that in a couple of years he will be the benchmark by which all other modern central defenders are judged. He will be classed as much better than slab head and stones God knows how much his transfer value will be. Imho of course

Best thing other than the £50m received for Ben White though?

The fact we don't have to deal with that snake of a man he's associated with as an agent.

I've said yes but certainly wouldn't drive him there myself and am really sorry to lose him. Seems like a few think he's only our third best centre back, which surprises me to say the least. As many have said, there are reasons why we need to sell, and we are well covered at centre back. Even so, losing Ben will weaken us a little at least there, so we need to strengthen elsewhere to counteract that.
