Work at stadium with extra seats: photos?

Who is this Jack Straw fellow?
Is he the same Jack Straw who kept us entertained with Jack Straw friday threads.

It would be nice to see more from Jack Straw

Just seen the computer generated pic on the official site. Is the East upper really going to look like that? With the 2 huge holes on either side for the boxes or whatever those windows are? If so, that's disappointing. Looks a bit crap imo.

Saw that pic as well (yfrog Fullsize - http://yfrog.com/hsi4qoedj) - thought it was going to be over the East lower more too. Mind you, I don't really care - just looking forward to experiencing the view from the Upper tier next season! :D

Hmm - hate being a bit negative but have to be honest - does look a bit disappointing with the gaps on either side. Never mind, it's still going to be superb.

What are they ?

Must be a mistake - some of the seats won't see all the pitch.

It's a bit of a shame they've decided to sling in more corporate boxes IMO.

I know they are a major money spinner for the Club but it's a bit dissapointing that they have chosen to comprise the aesthetics (and presumably overall capacity) of the Stadium for a couple more boxes.

They are a MASSIVE money spinner. American Express have been desperate for another box + more 1901 seats, as pretty much every game they have been oversubscribed from premium card members wanting seats.

It's all a bit Ken Bates's Leeds IMO.

It is a computer generated image but let's hope it's wrong, it looks terrible.
Someone needs to get onto the club asap about this to confirm if this is the design. If it is, it must be changed.

Unlikely it's a mistake and no chance it'll be changed- they have already ordered allthe materials and set up the scaffolding for the work.
