Not only is a totally inept defender, he has a total disregard for the fans - the people who pay his wages. He's quite clearly not happy, so why not give the shirt to someone like Butters who quite clearly wants to play for the club. I'm absolutely full of praise for all our players tonight, but El Abd can f*** off.

That's bollocks. He stormed off because he was clearly gutted with himself. He'll be devestated.

Why didn't he applaud the fans who had turned up to support him then, only to be let down by his ineptitude? For me, El Abd is lower than other unpopular players. For example, I obviously wasn't a fan of Henderson the footballer, but I respect the fact he tried to apologise when he made a mistake. Considering todays events AND those of the Bradford game last year, I think it's fair to say El Abd couldn't give a f*** about the fans, and that's just not on at a club like ours.

Would you PLEASE STOP reading my mind and putting my EXACT thoughts on here...!

Because he clearly knew he'd let everyone down and didn't think he deserved any applause. When Hendo came to the fans at Bournemouth everyone still slated him. Not like they went, "Oh look he's sorry, nevermind".

Bollocks. The players don't hang around to be clapped even more, they clap to thank the fans - who were very good today.

El-abd didn't. Knob. No doubt he'll rush out some sort of comment of apology in the argus though:rolleyes:

and so it begins. Its always the same people having a go. I'd love to see one of you have a go to his face and not behind a computer. Pathetic. We lost because one mistake cost us the game but i'm pretty sure he is feeling worse than anyone on here.

It's a two way thing - they clap us, we clap them. I mean jeez does anyone really care? Most people are busy pushing and shoving as they desperatly try to get out of the stadium. If I'd just f***ed up and cost my team a game I'd just want to get off the pitch as soon as possible too.

I wonder which one , of his two brain cells is feeling "worse than anyone on here"...?

Why can't people have a go at someone that's cost us the game and then behaved like a knob? If we can't moan at El Abd today, then I don't think there will ever be a chance. I'm all in agreement with you at not slating players unnecessarily, and I think everyone on here tonight will appreciate what a good performance we put in, but you cannot deny there was one exception.

You can have a go at him for costing us the game but I don't agree with the point about him running off the pitch at the end.

because all you do is have a go at one player. I say that is behaving like a knob myself. El-Abd could have the best game ever and still you would not give him credit.

I thought we should have won

I thought El Abd made a mistake, or two but so have I this week and yes pepople have paid me to do a job, but thats life.

I thought the team played their socks off and gave me good value for money

I thought robinson was flagging 5-10 mins before the goal after playing his socks off.

I thought Wilkins should have subbed then but didn't.

I thought I was getting far better value for money for my ST than last year

I think the whiners on here should exercise their right to go and see faultless football but where that is god only knows

I think the team are trying hard this season

I thought the boo's that rang up at the final whistle were totally out of order and seemed to upset Hammond

I think we should all stop knocking the players as we are also part of the team, even though I'm not good at the singing.

I think I am new on here so am prepared to get slated

I think I have finished thank you for listening

WHAT? People BOOED? Now that IS twattish, after by far our most committed and determined display in years. Unfortunately we didn't have the talent, or the cutting edge to win the game...but if people booed then there's something seriously wrong. If they can't recognise that the team gave it everything today and were generally bloody good, then there's a problem.

Well said - I think we were clearly running out of energy and ideas with 20 minutes to go. Forster should have replaced Jake much earlier. The pace of the game had slowed - Butters could have come on for El-Abd. Needed someone who wasn't knackered in midfield - Rents or Loft would have helped. We gave it our all but couldn't sustain because we ran ourselves into the ground and were nackered by the end. When your nackered, you make mistakes. The forwards werent chasing down enough, the back line started to drop too deep. Could see a goal coming for Leeds.
