Why?

Not a debate as to whether we will win, go up blah blah blah - just a questions as to why, the closer we get this time the more my stomach churns.

The more time I spend sitting on a Sunday morning analysing theleague table?

Is that why the atmosphere at Withdean is not that great - we are all sat there nervously biting nails, thinking its all going to wrong.....

When Muraay or Bennett - or any of them hit the deck - i gasp and clutch my head like a 15 year-old boy?

We have been like a machine all season - and now I'v e decided its inevitable that the machine will blow up short of the line and everyone will cruise past us.

I'm stupid I know.

But I've loved this club for years.

And we just cant do this.....................

Can we??

Help me.

I'm suffering. :down::down::down:

Ha ha i feel the same.

I can't remember a season where i've spent so long studying the tables and looking at stats.

I've also spent more money on buying papers and watching us on the box.

You can't help taking more of an interest in the clubs who threaten us the most. Even to the point checking stats on card counts and hoping for minor injuries.

I thought this thread was about your love-life....

but now I see it is really. you're obsessed with the bitch, and you want to consummate it but scared you'll peak too early.

Be patient my son, don't look at the newspaper porno tables which only turn you on too soon. Just chill, and treat the girl as a twice-a-week pleasure from now on.

I'm sure Tony Bloom isn't suffering from sleepless nights, wherever he is. Good on him.

I am spending a lot of time looking at the League table and forthcoming fixtures. My stomach is not knotted - I just have this wierd sense of calm about the rest of the season. It ain't natural.

It'll get worse. The fear of relegation seems to inspire teams more than the hope of promotion in my experience. How often does a team down the bottom show playoff form in the last two months while those at the top choke?

My gut feeling is that we are gonna walk it into the Championship though.....it's the rest who are gonna sweat to the last game

I am a little nervous at home games, but only until the first goal goes in. I know we'll keep picking up points away so again, not too nervous there. Even when we lose like at Bournemouth, I feel confident it's a one off and not going to be the start of a slump. And all the while we continue to dominate at home I really don't think there is anything to panic about.

Relax. We're going up, it's an absolute, 100%, nailed-on certainty. Just the tedious formality now of gathering the necessary points. The best we can hope for is that our rivals buck their ideas up and start winning to make it a bit interesting.

I can't bring myself to say that yet!

Brovion - that makes me panic more. I have dreams about a giant egg hitting me in the face. I have had a dream about Poyet leaving in a huff with five games to go. Bloom getting ill. An earthquake destroying falmer.

Oh Christ help me - I cant live like this. I also had a dream the other night about a large cow delivering a pizza and then telling me that I was impotent.

Not sure what that meant but it was strange.

I know, it's weird. I've never felt this confident about a promotion as I do now. It's not just our performances and the current league table, it's that the other teams are all so SHIT.

EDIT: Mind you I was also 100% convinced we were going to get relegated when Adams was manager. I've often moaned about the bi-polar nature of NSC, but it turns out I'm one of the worst offenders!

At least you realise it, that's the first step to redemption :lolol:

i'm 100% with you.

This season for some reason is a total and utter pantshittingly nervous one.
Probably because it's ours to lose...

There is nothing pantshittingly worrying about March's fixture list. Oldham away is the only game where a win would be considered a bonus. And when we've won most of those games we'll be about 12 points clear going into the last 6 weeks.

Some of you bedwetters will still be finding reasons to panic, even an hour after watching yet another crap outfit at Withdean playing the part of the cuddly kitten having it's face punched in.

Relax. I've done the BBC predictor, and as it turns out, we only need another 6 point for the title, but we're going to get 51. :smokin:
