Well you parrot the liberal party line very well. :)

I know a few LDP voters none of whom detest socialist politics. Maybe that is just you.

It's not parroting, it's pointing out the obvious, Labor are a woeful organisation. This isn't a Liberal exclusive opinion.

Added, given the LDP preference the likes of the Greens and the Socialist Alliance last I think it's safe to say there's a distinct dislike of that ideology among Classical Libertarians.

Trouble is, it doesn't matter what your immigration policies are there will always be spanners that blame immigrants for everything.

A nett 2 million+ immigrants arrived in this country under the last labour government at a rate of around 200,000 a year - this has continued under the Tories with a nett 230,000 or so migrants arriving last year.

In the meantime new build housing has fallen to record low levels - so while last year these increased by 30% that was still just around 130,000.

Therefore do you not think that mass immigration over the last 15 years or so - that the British people have never been asked to vote on - has had a hand in forcing up prices in the housing market both for purchasing and renting and therefore had a detrimental effect on the people of this country?!

Sounds like parroting to me. Word for word.

Gillard did a fantastic job in difficult circumstances. Her party hung her out to dry and let this lot sneak in with their lies and misdirection.

Surely its the answer for him, he would fall in love with their current PM...

Anti-gay marriage, climate change denial, misogynistic, an offshore ex-colony to process illegal immigrants and he wouldn't need a sun bed to keep his tan up.

Just take some money out of those offshore accounts and I'm sure they'd bypass the points system for him. Go on please go.....
Simple,Then there would be no one to represent the people who want to stop the EU and it's power grab...not very democratic is it....Oh! We are worried about Nigel...let's get him to go the Australia...
How can you say that Nigel is a misogynist....last time I looked he had a wife...a german one at that...
Same old story...political envy of anyone who has money...Blair must be worried, selling out his socialist values.

I would have thought the the ideology of many socialists would be in keeping with libertarian ideals. I have spoken to many socialists who would also see themselves as anarchists, perhaps this isn't traditional socialism but the link is certainly there.

Edit: Looking at the link from the LDP page it looks like the difference between National Socialism and Democratic Socialism

Yes, let's get back to when we had good old, home grown psychopaths running the London underworld; 'Mad' Frankie Fraser electrocuting people for the Richardsons, Ronnie and Reggie Kray (national treasures them two) shooting people in pubs.
Bloody immigrant criminals, just not in the same league

If you check the NSC charter you will find I am not allowed an opinion on this as i don't reside in the UK.

The point I was making was in reponse to someone lauding Australia's immigration policy. My point is that it doesn't matter how exemplary or tight your immigration policy is people will still complain about immigrants.

Give it a rest. Gillard/Rudd were THE worst Government this nation had since the Whitlam.

This nations politics is cyclical.

Labor waste shit loads of money and **** the economy. Liberals have to come in and fix it and get hated on by the moaning welfare staters.

Rinse and repeat.
Sounds familiar.

Without wanting to wade into the argument, i'd guess that it is possible to be married and still have misogynistic traits.

At least the problem was already here , not something that was imported and could of been avoided . On another note whilst watching online the Old Bailey trial with the Brighton football guys I kept looking at the other court cases and 90% of the names were not British names , ok some may of been born here but it was a surprising number , mostly East European . I have also lived in the Czech Republic for a while and the amount of Romanian gypsies there was , it was very alarming in Prague and Brno , some streets were no go area's and you had to be on your guard as their profession is stealing and mugging , prostitution , begging (not all Romanians) . No problems with the Czech people at all .

I'd say its IMPOSSIBLE. To be married and not develop mysogynistic traits. Especially when the subjects of the bins and tidiness are involved.

Unless you are married to a person of the same sex when, I imagine, a coin toss is used to allocate roles.

I live in Zizkov in Prague..I dont know of any 'no go' areas...and Zizkov is probably the main Sinti area in Prague...not sure how you distinguish between Romanian and Czech roma either tbh
Funnily enough...ive had one gypsy try to pickpocket me.....but dozens of Czechs have tried to stiff me with a restaurant or bar bill.

You may well be right but in describing those people who object to mass immigration - and we should be clear that that is EXACTLY what it is - as 'spanners' you are actually giving an opinion on the subject (whatever the NSA Charter says!)!

My point to you is that perhaps people aren't the 'spanners' you describe them as when, partially due to maybe 2.5 million immigrants nett coming into this country, over the last decade or so - and especially in a time of recession - many ordinary British working people cannot get on the housing ladder and find that maybe rented accommodation is not as easily available and is more expensive than it might have been without the new-comers!

Or are these people just 'spanners' that should sit back and not question our immigration policies and take the lack of cheap housing, and maybe jobs etc etc too, on the chin without a murmur? ?!!

Had enough of the rubbish served up by the other political parties and want to see some change. Most of us spanners realise that UKIP will never get in to the power, but at least UKIP can act as a protest vote to let the other parties know what a bad job they are doing. How can there be any change in the future if you don't vote.

If Farage is racist, then they must racist as well for putting up a sign. lol.

On a daily basis, I work with people from all over the world - I tend to temper the way I write & speak so that it is easier for them to understand, sometimes I even write in French  What an enourmous hardship it really is.
