There are an awful lot of STH who put their applications in on the Tuesday of the Swansea game who didn't get tickets.

Wouldn't blame them one bit if they didn't renew.

Especially after a club representative said they would get one :nono: :nono:

El Pres you have abused your position but so be it just to mock others.

How have I abused my 'position', whatever that is?

Sorry, Beachy, that doesn't automatically assume that that is the right way of doing it.

A loyalty scheme of sorts can be set up, but it needs to be administered - further expense.

Bollocks - e-procurement systems generate saving efficiencies elsewhere or we'd still be using abacuses, pen and paper etc. The club needs to change it's ticket policy for sure, and could do worse than install a basic CRM system as per other lower league clubs like Wycombe and Oxford. FFS, it's the 21st century now and our club is a business; people forget that at times because of the unique loyalty football clubs receive unlike any others - a phenomenon many have become complacent about down the years. Never bite the hand that feeds you is an old adage that seems most appropriate here.

I would have thought as a moderator you would not abuse someone openly on a board with a pathetic cartoon where actually a reasoned and structured position has been put forward proving the current system is wrong plus you actually seem to agree with it.

The only other one I can remember was Turkey and that fat picture of Berks Seagull head.

But as I said so be it it will add to your count on the moderator post for being a great guy so well done your ego will feel better.

Of course it's not bollocks. The club does NOT need to change its ticketing polciy. Instead, people need to change their attitudes about arrogant presumption. Sure the technology exists, but it counts for f*** all if people won't adhere to it.

As I said earlier, how can I prove I went to Doncaster if I paid cash on the door, something which is still the most convenient way of entering a football ground? Am I therefore OBLIGED to buy a ticket at time and in a manner not of my choosing? One of the bugbears of Withdean is that you cannot pay on the gate - it's desirable to so many people to be able to do so.

If you do pay cash, you're never going to be one who's counted.

Interesting then why chose a cash game - JPT Millwall as a priority.

I wonder how many people with a WHU ticket are not AMS or STH.

Nice on Perry

I would have thought none at all.

Think about it - turn it around and ask 'How many non-AMS or non-STHs would bother their arse to go to Millwall.?' How many casual fans who have NEVER been to an away game would have been at Millwall that night?

So let me get this straight. There are more people who want to go to this game than there are tickets available, therefore some people will be disappointed. That is unavoidable. The club has tried to get extra tickets, and it has tried to implement a fair ticket policy but some people will always lose out. If that upsets you then it's about time you got a f***ing life. Pathetic. It's one game for gods sake! How many of you were at Doncaster or Port Vale? Although I understand the financial implication of you not re-newing your season tickets, I'm starting to think the club will be better off without you.

Yes, but you're obviously a moran by your comments so your opinion isn't valid here. Nobody can argue with you because you eventually drag them down to your level. And then beat them with experience. It's akin to cheating in the world of adult debate. All your postings on this thread are therefore declared void. They just don't count.

Dear Mods,

How about a separate forum for all these West Ham threads? 'Childish Ramblings 2'?

Seriously though, this is getting out of hand. I might have to flounce soon. Or give my tickets away as a bribery for someone's silence.

Who knows ?

But if there are it would cause another major row to say the least.

Anyway there are us in one camp and you guys in the other so that is where we stand as we clearly cannot find common ground.

The painful proof will be in a few months when STH renewals come around.

Not renewing season tickets on this issue, and this issue alone, would rob Gubber off his title, and that would be a tragedy. :(

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The whole issue is about financially supporting the club and the fact many AMS don't necessarily contribute in this way UNLIKE many STH who have been treated so poorly. It doesn't 'count for F*** all' if you're measuring your customer's financial loyalty for which buying an 'away' ticket is worth precisely £0.00 to BHA whether you pay in advance or on the gate. So you simply don't NEED to measure that.

TLO I have stated my opinion and I will renew 3 and buy a 4th - others are clearly not convinced after this latest shambles.

Don't bother trying, it is all fact and clearly true as I suspect you understand the Service Industry as well.

Done to death but beyond understanding of a fair few I am afraid.

Spot on - and even a couple of hundred STHs not renewing will hurt the club - wheras a couple of hundred AMs who have got WHU tickets but might not have done under a differernt system won't be investing their cash in the club in Feb/March but will wait for the next big game to go to.

Some of you who continue to try to justify the system are those who see far too much through blue and white tinted glasses, and for whom the club can do no wrong. One or two of you have got your tongue's so far up Martin Perry's arse it's quite pathetic.

I disagree with that, I take the view that your stance ( in that you would rather have a 1 in 5 chance of a ticket for West Ham PROVIDED that no AMS members got near them, compared to a 5 in 8 chance that you have under the present scheme) is similar to that of the central character in that cartoon. If you look at the final couple of frames of the cartoon you will see the analogy.

As for insults, what do you and Ernest spend half your time doing to each other?

Absolutely, I really need my ego massaging by a bunch of geeks on the interweb, spot on. Thats why I do the job of course. NSC is soooooo representative isn't it of Albion fans as a whole.

If you don't want to discuss topics relating to the Albion, especially contentious ones like this, then the sensible thing would be to bugger off to some other chat forum? Do you always need the bleedin obvious stating?

Well no real surprise shame you have the power to ban people as clearly it is in the hands of the wrong person.

Still keep massaging your ego as you say as it makes you feel much better.

How long till you ban me as I have stood up and put up a reasoned debate ?
