Amusing to watch isn't it? In the same way they never complain about the fact all the things they voted for on Brexit were never delivered, here they are vehemently arguing how they should pay more Tax even though it's one of main reasons they reject liberal / socialist parties, and on this specific subject; continuing to buy into the bullshit and spin from a government so hopelessly inept they are beyond parody even though, again, another major reason they voted them in was to sort out immigration

The problem we have is Nibble, I’m very much for LEGAL immigration, I’m very much opposed to ILLEGAL immigration, I’m opposed to people smuggling, modern day slavery and human misery.

I know quite a few Tory voters. They can articulate why they vote Tory, the failings of the party, the pros and cons of Brexit, how it's been handled disastrously. They are intelligent and reasonable enough to look at it like objective adults. Why? Because they understand the subject.
People such as Das Reich and Baker Lite don't actually understand politics. They are fundamentally, rather thick. They pick the Tory's to support because they persecute foreigners and the poor. Groups they have been told are to blame for the lack of achievement in their own lives. They are stupid, they are racist and they are gullible. It's why there's no point addressing them as if they were anything but narrow minded nitwits.
It's not worth debating anything with them but admittedly, it can be fun to make them look stupid once in a while. It's best not to engage with them too often though because as well as being thick, racist and gullible they are also frankly rather weird and nasty. Because they are essentially social cripples, they always go too far eg; Chicken Run's "audits" , Ppf calling himself Das Reich after a notorious Nazi fighting unit assigned to foiling operation Overlord and meting out gruesome punishment to the resistance. Or Baker Lite accusing people of being paedophiles and advocates for human trafficking.
I mean. that is simply not the behviour of normal, well adjusted people.
