Ok it wasn't a good result tonight but that really is a cheap shot - for example you are conveniently overlooking the 1-3 home losses at against Palace and Watford (I won't mention the play offs) when Gus didn't have such a severe injury problem to contend with but we capitulated and he had no sign of a plan B. Gus was far from perfect when the chips were down.

You need to cut Oscar a bit more slack. Unlike Gus he is trying to do his best with a severely depleted squad and hasn't been given a big budget to do anything about it. Time to rally round and look at the bigger picture, this is a temporary blip. When we get Ulloa, Bridcutt, Orlandi, CMS, Hoskins and even Kemy and Spanish Dave properly fit our squad will then be as good as any. That's when we can start to judge Oscar fairly.

Jesus christ stop bed wetting, do you really think Gus would have got a result against a team splashing the cash when three of our best players are injured. At least we gave it a go.

Part of me hopes he's palace manager by Christmas..... I'm sick of hearing his bloody name... He didn't give a toss about us. Also with the current team he would have won every game 10-0.......

Nope, about now he'd be giving a whingy moany interview about how he needs more funds and embarrassing himself and us. Probably talking about going home and playing golf too whilst enthusing about the money Forest had spent.

Much as I love Gus what would he do different? We have 3 very important if not our best 3 players out nothing you, I or Oscar can do about that. Give Oscar a chance it will come good

Oh imagine the drama, had Gus been faced with the squad as it is.

He'd be whoring himself EVERYWHERE making sure EVERYBODY knew a loss to Forest wasn't his fault.

This is just stating the obvious, but it will wind up a lot of people.

We should have done everything we could to keep him - We would be on course for the Premier League if we did, this season would have inevitability been our promotion season.

Sacking Gus is a profound & monumental **** up from the board.

****.

No, clueless ****

Gus was a bell end but a good manager, however the board/senior management of the club must take some of the blame for the situation.

Oscar is a massive risk, totally un experienced in British and championship football and not a name any potential signings in the UK would know or our players would have any massive respect for.

Our organisation and positional discipline is awful and we will lose games regardless of what players are out injured or not. some players that performed well last season look awful this season and this in some part is down to the manager IMHO, either they are not playing for him, they don't believe in what they are being asked to do or the system does not suit them.

One positive is that he is giving Lua Lua a chance.

you have hit the nail on the head. particularly like the bit about the system not suiting some players

So we keep him, give him a big transfer budget, he spends loads of money, he ****s off to the premier league, we don't go up, we end up in financial trouble and it would be people like you moaning the club was stupid with it's money.. He thought he was bigger than the club, rightly or wrongly it doesn't matter, it was his time to go.

What a load of nonsense gus was leaving one way or another in the summer and any suggestion Gus would be doing any better with a squad ravaged by injuries to our key players is simply mental

All of this. He 'left' us before the end of last season. Defo wouldn't be here, even if he wasn't sacked. Would HAVE quit or been poached.

Please phuck off. You cannot see that your hero phucked up our best promotion chance in generations. You really do need to move on.
