Wayne Henderson hands in Transfer Request

That's not the point I was making! Of course we had to get a keeper because Kuipers was injured. But when it all kicked off it was because he was dropped for no reason for Chaigneau.

And Kuipers absolutely deserved to keep the shirt. Unfortunate for Hendo (although he wasn't great against Crewe) but the thing to do would've been knuckle down and win back the place, not slap in a transfer request. :shootself

It all kicked off because of Leon SHITE!

Well, personally I would have spoken to the heirachy about it first. At first sight it looks as if he has gone for the infamous knee jerk reaction, I may be wrong.
Maybe. But the bottom line is he lost his shirt after being on international duty, and hasn't been picked for two games, and therefore clearly has lost his place. Would you fight to win it back, knowing that you'll lose it the next time your called up. Or would you move on as soon as possible to somewhere where you dont lose your place because you are an international.

f*** me he's the first international we've had for ages, and we even manage to f*** that up!!

Go to the library tomorrow and look back at the editions. It's there in black & white.
Yes thanks, I'll be sure to do that.
But being as Kuipers apparently refused to play, refused to sit on the bench, refused to train and now refused to apologise to his team mates, I think I'll take it with a pinch of salt from the Anti-Kuipers brigade.

He probably eats babys and rapes blind orphans as well I suppose.

Oh for fucks sake.
KUIPERS DID NOT REFUSE TO PLAY
KUIPERS DID NOT RUFUSE TO SIT ON THE BENCH

If you don't rate the fella then FINE, back it up in football terms. But please stop peddling this utter bullshit theory about Kuipers effectively going on strike. He had a much-publicised falling out with McGhee, and would not back down and apologise. As a result, MCGHEE made the decision to omit him from the squad. That was MCGHEE'S DECISION. I'm not saying McGhee was wrong in that, but its a big difference from your (constant) claims that Kuipers then refused to play, refused to sit on the bench, and refused to train.

f*** SAKE.

BOLLOCKS - the loan request came from Kuipers. NO ONE DISPUTES THAT.

I just think Henderson is moaning, and this situation will be sorted by Wilkins in due course, he can't go so what is the point?

Too right. Wilkins doesn't look like he's going to take any shit from anyone.

But why should he have reclaimed the shirt at Millwall? He was pants against Crewe, and hasn't exactly been in fine form this season (or last for that matter). Michel deserves his chance more than most, so why not give him a run to see how he does, rather than axing him after 3 games like last time?

Obviously we will disagree, but we can have a bloody good debate en route!

I didnt think he had that bad a game against Crewe, granted it wasnt his best but then again it was a freak game where none of the players really performed. Its awful for a players morale also. Imagine there was promotion up at work and you wanted to go for it, but your boss said yeah you can go for it but if you dont get it then im going to demote you. Im pretty sure that you would go for that promotion and if you were unsuccessful you would quit your job if the boss carried out his promise. That is pretty much what Henderson is doing, he's being demoted for achieving International recognition.

You make a good point. But to do it now? The transfer window has just shut? He knew the situation when we went down, he could've asked in the summer, but now? He should just get on with it. The timing is shit, and it's just one game! At least give it some time. It's a knee jerk reaction, and a poor one.

I dont agree. He must feel that the club have set their stool out on this issue, and feels he must leave. Because the club is in a f***ed up state at the moment is not his fault. He has to look out for his career, so I dont think timing comes into it at all.

It's not a very good message to send out to any Albion player.

Try not to get called up for international duty, because it could just cost you your place.

If he had done it Friday, you could call it a knee jerk reaction. He's obviously thought about it over the weekend and told Wilkins he feels he has to leave as soon as possible. Fair play to him.

Now the only bit I can confirm is the "refusing to apologise to teamates" bit. Im quite sure that McGhee quite rightly IMO refused him permission to train because of this.

DID. HE. REFUSE. TO. PLAY. ?

Yes! He played for Boston when he should have been f***ing here!

Because Mcghee had frozen him out.

How else is he meant to get fully match fit?

Like every other player not in the eleven, the RESERVES!

That only get's you so far. Every top class player know's you need FIRST TEAM games to get your full match fitness (Sharpness in the case of a goalkeeper) back.

But you and Mr Burns are saying that it was Kuipers who REFUSED to train, and Kuipers who REFUSED to play, when thats simply not true. OK, maybe McGhee was within his rights to exclude Kuipers from the squad until he got his precious apology, but you cannot equate that to a refusal to play on Kuipers part. Kuipers being out of the squad was McGhee's decision, no-one elses.

And I still don't know where you're dredging up this "apology to team mates" malarky. Kuipers gobbed off at McGhee for dropping him, so got frozen out as a result - whats he got to apologise to the team for ? The argument was between those two, and those two alone.
