plus a decent looking bench too

Not too shabby if you could have that lot for the run-in and play-offs!

After the partnership of Lynch/Elphick has just kept clean sheets away at Forest and Leeds, you'd drop one of them???

Lynch and El Abd are both liable to make schoolboy errors IMO when under pressure. The fact that Lynch has held is own in the past 2 games is fantastic but he is possibly helped by the fact that our midfield is now sufficiently classy to retain possession and ease the pressure on the back 4.

1. El-Abd is injured
2. Lynch is better in every conceivable way

I think Lynch makes mistakes through complacency rather than under pressure. He nearly made one (according to SCR) against the lack-lustre Leeds attack. Freedman did not get a look in.

I think Richards is a Samson type of defender who is suited at this level, but he is not an optimum athlete and if he does venture forward, he can get caught out. Mayo gets caught out all the time at full back though.

When I posted the first question I was thinking of Westlake and I forgotten all about Richards. I would not be surprised to see Mayo retained next Saturday.
