The Lazio "fans" have a history. It's about time UEFA banned the club from European competitions.

"up to 100 'Ultras' - notorious troublemakers - attacking a band of Spurs fans.
Ten were left wounded with two stabbed, one of whom was believed to be critically ill.
The violence is believed to have occurred at the Drunken Ship pub as fans of the London club were enjoying a drink.
Photographs show the pub wrecked. The newspaper reported the Lazio fans were armed with knives, baseball bats, belts and knuckle dusters and they went on to 'destroy' the venue."

Shouldn't Italy just be banned from Europe for 5 years?

Why just one club? It wasn't just Liverpool that were banned.

This happens almost every time an English club plays in Italy. Seem to recall the mickeys getting a similar treatment from Napoli not too long ago. f*** all ever gets done. If it was the other way round then English clubs would be banned from European competitions.

Me and a bunch of mates from Uni were drinking in that pub just this last Saturday night, it is a proper rowdy place on with a beer pong table and and American bar man that dishes out free shots like there's no tomorrow

Roma fans are a bit stabby too.

Italian Ultras are all knife happy. f***ing cowards. Saw footage of Juve and Turin a few years ago attempting to have a row in a back street. Good 60 heads on each side and literally not a punch thrown. They spent nearly 5 minutes lobbing things at one another and waving chains around. Oh and letting off the odd banger and smoke bomb. Pathetic effort. Italians all over, all grease Lacoste and no bottle ;)

A rare occasion when they worked out whose side they were on.

So are we horrified by this or think they aren't violent enough? The way some of you talk it sounds like you encourage violence but only if it meets certain criteria?

Not all people who label themselves Ultras are violent, it isn't that simple, some are just extreme fans. I agree that the Stadio Olimpico isn't a nice e place to go, got pelted with coins for 90 mins in the away end by Roma fans a few years back!

My philosophy is if your going to have a pop then at least do it with some minerals and with a legitimate target (someone who actually wants to know). Stabbing someone in the arse or lamping someone with a chain whilst flying by on a moped is just twisted.

Violent English hooligans in Europe over the the last few decades have given all English clubs supporters this joy. Give yourself a big bag reputation, and other countries nitwits will be wanting to have a go.

I bet you read this, weak minded RotR. (What's the point of a ignore button if you just read my post anyway).
