A chat with the Chancellor on Budget day, on a 'news start-up', isn't exactly going to be 'opinion-based content', is it?

Ofcom would look at individual programmes rather than the name of the channel. The output of GB"News" is quite marked, they don't run a "news" bulletin.

I tuned in first day fascinated to see what it would be like, I was disappointed. It's quite clear they know the rules and that's probably why they don't.

I think viewers also need to separate their political beliefs what they disagree with on screen.

There is also nothing to stop someone launching a left of centre "news" (or not) channel.

I've been pondering what they've achieved in the last 13 years. Brexit, obviously. I'm sure a Tory wouldn't come up with that list, despite most being accurate, but I do wonder what a Tory would identify as to what they've achieved in those 13 years.
