No I'm afraid I'm just an average lad who wants to go to a football ground, cheer on my team , be proud of them and not get wet.

Not at all but how long has it been going on for - Huddersfield, Doncaster, darlington, colchester etc etc are all getting them easily.

I'm sure he's not up to it.

So because other clubs don't have to deal with the likes of LDC and government f*** ups, it's all down to Perry? :shootself

i honestly believe the club is in a right mess at the moment.
the support is dwindling and the recent results are very poor.we are no nearer falmer and morale is very low.
we need some positive news and that be it falmer or new faces in the transfer window.if the board are expecting people to renew their season tickets after a possible rise in admission prices or the club are expecting to attract new fans then the board will need more than a (plan a).
its nearly 10 years since weve had a permanent home and a roof and we are all pissed off with the product at the moment!

hope you read this mr knight rant over.

Perry keeps stringing out Flamer picking up his 100k a year to build a stadium that we have not got and to be honest seem to be getting further away from by the day and no Plan B apparent in the pipeline.

I dont know about the Falmer issue because there's a lot of obstacles being put in his way, But I do know for a fact he's a very difficult and at times a very obstructive person to deal with from a disabled fans point of view.

What incompetent decision would that be? ???

The one where he allocates 50% of the tickets (for West Ham) for the AMS . An average of 500 fans go to each away game, of which I understand at least 50% are already season ticket holders. So that leaves approx 250 away supporters not covered by the season tickets, who rightly should get a ticket. So what does he do...?...He makes it so EVERY AMS member has an equal right to a ticket....Assuming at least 5000 AMS members and probably more, that gives the poor sod who regularly watches the Albion away a less than 50% chance of getting a ticket, exactly the same chance as someone who has been to just ONE away game in the last 5 years. The guy is a complete and utter idiot, with the commercial sense of a deckchair attendant trying to sell sand to an Arab....!

I'm confused as to why people are getting so het up but the West Ham game. When I was a season ticket holder I didn't manage to obtain a ticket for Spurs in the cup but I just got on with it.Besides we went out that day.Support the team when it really matters. At the moment we are a small club so lets worry about beating other small teams before we make a rise back up the leagues and become a medium club again.I mean...Come on!Get over it for Gods sake!

I fear for this club at present if the Falmer decision is not forthcoming soon then it may well self-destruct.

Why didn't you write and complain when this ticket process 1st came into action then? And not wait till we actually had a big away game like West Ham.

And I'm sure you'd be saying exactly the same thing if you'd happened to get all seventy-five West Ham tickets you were after.

If had got the 5 (I have 2 at present) I would still say the same thing.

Commercial decisions are not encouraging the core STHs to renew IMHO, however the proof will be forthcoming very soon when STHs are asked to renew.

To be perfectly honest with you, I didn,t even realise that this bizarre system had been decided on. The club has come out with many many statements over the years, and always the ones I take particular note of, are the statements regarding Falmer. The same as when we have General Elections, you put your trust in the Local MP to know what he,s talking about....and then realise that so many times they aren,t what you thought they were. For your information, I do have a ticket. What so alarms me about all this ticket fiasco, (and it is a fiasco) is the number of people I know, not just on here, for whom this is the last straw when it comes to renewing their season ticket. I do care about this club, and when it appears to me to be a ship , almost without a rudder, I,m deeply concerned. The continual lack of foresight by the present board regarding the general "looking after" of supporters is shocking. Look at today,....7 years on, no roof.......two of my children are 8 and 6 years old. I want to get them season tickets.....but do you seriously think I,m going to take them on a day like today...?.....or when we,re exposed to freezing cold winds, no atmosphere...? A fine way that would be to encourage them to have blue and white blood running through their veins. I,m informed by some that the club can,t afford it......my opinion is, that the club CANNOT not afford to do it , if they want to keep a fan base , and more importantly build upon that fan base.

It is a fair point on the ground - Mini had to be vitually revived through boy warmth by his Mum today he was so cold.

The current situation is bleeding the club dry and other inept commercial decisions, including the family stand fiasco last season, are making it worse.

We're not allowed to put a roof on, it's as simple as that.

I would write why i think the current 50/50 scheme is the right way, but i've said it so many times now on so many threads i can't really be arsed.

Beach Hut, you're a lovely man with some nimble dance moves, but you really got to stop being bitter about West Ham tickets.

You are near-enough single-handedly turning the term STH into a term of abuse.

We were,nt allowed to have football at Withdean initially, any music, any new seats, a park and ride......the list is endless. If you want something enough, you,ll find a away to do it. This board has ignored so many things in the last few years, sooner or later these problems will come home to roost.

Why? Tell us how the delay in getting planning permission is Perry's fault?

Disagree just pointing out the bleeding obvious to the club about what keeps it going.

There's already a roof on one side of the ground, so there surely can't be a separate bit of planning bollocks that prevents the other side of the ground having a roof. When was a planning application last attempted to put a roof over the South Stand? The club must surely realise that a fair percentage of the crowd, maybe even some - gasp! - STH are elderly and they could easily catch pneumonia in these conditions. Or stop coming.

Comma - ,
Apostrophe - '

Sorry, I had to give up reading this because of your use of commas as apostrophes.
