Ian Bell 52* (68 balls, 8 fours)

2nd fifty of the match, batting under pressure in both innings at no. 3 :clap2:

England 88-2, 33 required to win :)

Not sure anyone had Ian Bell as top scorer in the test!

I'd go Finn for MOM, 2 big wickets in the first innings and ripped through them in the second.

Yeah it has to be a bowler and Finn has been the pick of the bunch. Honourable mention for Anderson's first innings bowling.

Very true. He's stepped up in this match. Not only that he reached 50 twice but he's steered us from some a nervy situation to a relaxed and comprehensive victory.

Best batsman in the match. He responded fantastically to the move up to three and if he was under pressure you would never have known it. Hopefully this will give him the confidence to go on and score a daddy hundred at Tent Bridge. Without Jimmy, we are likely going to need it.

England 124-2, WIN the 3rd test match by 8 wickets in 2 and a half days, and lead the series 2-1 with two to play.

Great performances with the ball from Anderson 14.4-2-47-6, Broad 12-2-44-2, Finn 10-1-38-2 and 21-3-79-6; and with the bat from Bell 53 & 65*, Root 63 & 38*, Ali 59 and Broad 31.

This amazing see-saw Ashes test match series continues... can't wait for Trent Bridge :)

Has that been established? I've seen reports of a torn muscle and another of him just having a tight side & being assessed overnight.
No, but it didn't look good.
