Well, thats a lovely conspiracy theory but as pointed out already, the Guardian newspaper amongst others (see also Daily Mirror) not known for bowing to supposed government pressure, also describe the march as 'Pro Palestinian'.... probably because it clearly is.
Yes, pro-Palestinian protestors are marching but so are many other peace organisations marching under the umbrella organisation Stop The War Coalition ( which was founded in the weeks following 9/11 btw) who organised this march.

It is the anniversary of my Dad’s death today and as very much a Jewish man who was all his life committed to peace, I think he would have been proud that Jews have also been marching for peace today …..’Anti-war’ sentiments are universal and diverse. Remembrance Day these days is as much about remembering those who have died in all wars as it also is about learning the importance of cherishing and striving for peace.

How ridiculous a premise is that? Do you realise how daft that is?

Vast majority of what I’ve seen come under the pro Palestine banner/flag …with the odd naughty one…oh and apparently Marxists and Socialist Workers Party have been present …in addition to that quoted by you

I was under the impression that Stop the War were just one of six groups involved in organising this weekends demo …others including

Palestine Solidarity campaign
Muslim Association in Britain.

Etc

What goes through the minds of these idiots?

"Yeah, I reckon a symbol associated with murdering Jews is a great idea, grab some paint and a stick"

Idiots everywhere

Thank God it is only a very small minority- and well done for finding the image on a very biased X post and reposting it here so we can all see there are sick extremists on all sides 👍

Btw Your poster is wrong - his image does not “perfectly encapsulate today’s march” this one does it better for me

That columnist from the Daily Mail certainly earned his money today finding that idiot's placard amongst the 300,000 marching. Should get a bonus

Strangely no mention of the arrests and violence though, which as a journalist you would think he would be interested in. Unless of course HE had an agenda ???

West is BEST
Very disappointing to see footage of skinhead racists chanting “send them back” in our capital today.

I hope they get as harsh sentences handed down to them as those protesting to save our planet have been receiving.

They won’t.

The trouble with many 'peace' organisations or people supposedly marching or campaigning for 'peace' is that they assume no one notices they seem very selective in their choice of cause or march. The 'Stop the war coalition' being a case in point.

I think we can agree that the people taking part in the numerous pro Palestine marches that immediately sprung up after 1300 Jewish civilians were deliberately targeted and killed plus hostages taken had many motivations.

In my view and in no particular order, they were ..

Genuine desire for peace

Antisemitism

Anti Israel sentiment

Usual anti West suspects/groups

Trendy cause to latch on to.

We would probably disagree how many would fall into each category but there you go.
