Down in the tube-station at Midnight......
"They smelled of pubs, and Wormwood Scrubs, and too many right wing meetings..."
Bloody magic....
Nearly forgot "English rose"...........feckin classic
Tosh.........You not got "Days of speed"........perfect weller blend.Quite liked the style council and early independent weller but to be honest can't stand any thingDisagree strongly. That song seemed to sort of mark the end of The Jam era and signal the onset of Weller's self-indulgent Not-All-That post-Jam career. Be honest, it's its a bit shit aye?

Disagree strongly. That song seemed to sort of mark the end of The Jam era and signal the onset of Weller's self-indulgent Not-All-That post-Jam career. Be honest, it's its a bit shit aye?
Eh? English Rose was released in 1978. Before the two songs you mentioned in your previous post
OK if you say so yada yada Foxton & Buckler must have been thinking WTF?!
Probably, only Weller played on the song. They should have seem the warnings signs 4 years before he called time.
Lovely that there's still simple souls that believe the hype to fill out the RAH to worship the maestro.
Bless.
