England (and Britain) was so good at sport 18 months ago with the national football, rugby and cricket teams all winning. Great Britain were all of a sudden good in Rugby League and even Jenson Button came in and muscled in.

Now we are shit, at EVERYTHING.

What a great year for the BBC Sports Personality.

You're not wrong. The trouble in the cricket is that we've got no strength in depth (compared to the Aussies) - so its a massive blow to be missing Vaughan & Simon Jones. Added to that, we've left our only class spinner to serve the drinks.

Why not? Belief in their ability as batters? add another 200 to the total and bowl you out on the next day - a decisive victory goes someone to exorcising the demons!
