Well we both have tough games Saturday. Hull away at Cardiff is one they will really want to win. Can see both sides having drastic changes come Monday.

As an NBA fan (waiting for the comments) I can't see why players need to be rested so often. NBA teams can play up to 100 games if they win it all including several road trips like 5 away games in 7 days, travelling a larger country.

Now disregarding that for a minute.......Surely TK could play 2 games in 3 days?

Totally agree my man.

If CMS is fit enough for 60 minutes, I'd give him a go next Monday night, and then Spanish Rodney. Not Obika.

Should be looking to try and get a game and a half out of our best players if possible. Ulloa 75 mins v Wigan then 60 v Hull for example.

Yes really. Asked as I've not known us to have a replay on a Monday before and didn't know the FA Cup takes priority over league games.

really?

didn't you ask the exact same question about a possible clash with Reading on March 8?

Whatever the teams next Monday, it'll be Hull 2nd team vs Brighton 2nd team, playing for a place in the quarter finals! Thanks TV!

I would play Dunk and Greer Saturday, Upson + whoever performs better Monday. Ulloa, Ince and two proper wingers have to start both games though.

Is that the NBA played on a much smaller court, where players come on and off the bench all the time, with three breaks and a total game time of 48 minutes?

(Partly in jest, I know they're very fit...)

That's a fair shout, i'd take that. Only thing I can see is that we'd be light in midfield with JFC and Spanish Dave, but there's no other options (apart from Kemy, but i don't know what's going on with him).

To be fair, our "second string" team is actually very decent. We could potentially play the teams below and still be competitive in both matches, barring the obvious issue up front.

Ince
Orlandi

LuaLua
Ulloa
Buckley

I don't think you can really compare football to basketball, they play 12 minute Quaters with breaks and time outs inbetween, the pitch is smaller and it's a non contact sport.

The average distance a player has to run during a football game is 7 miles and in basketball it's about 2 miles.

I'd say that PIG runs far less than 2 miles wouldn't you?

I see pretty much no one including the original Spanish Dave in next Mondays team. I would say he's a definite starter and I think he will do well against better opposition technically he's a very good player.
