Kuszczak
Bruno - Greer - El Abd - Bridge
Crofts - Bridcutt - Hammond
Buckley. Macca. Lopez

This is exactly the team i thought. In his press conference, Gus makes the point that Lopez was pushing for a start on Saturday. And i'm sure at some point he will want to try out Crofts and Hammond along side Bridders.

:lolol:

Stranger things have happened, the fact he was on the bench v SW means he is still in Gus's plans and he may still come good. Would be a good if he could rectify his nightmare of last year.

He was on bench at Watford too but once Crofts and KLL (maybe Vicente) are back he won't be. Of course it would be nice if he could make the grade but he's had plenty of opportunity and the first team isn't a place to experiment too much when you have aspirations for promotion. It's too much of a risk when the difference in success and failure may well be the result of just one game imo.

Millwall are a big strong side who lack skill and pace and often hit it long. I fully expect to see Crofts and Barnes back in. I would like to see this:

Kuzszcak
Bruno El-Abd Greer Bridge
Buckley Crofts Hammond Bridcutt
Barnes Mackail-Smith

Is crofts back fit then?

If not I would play Orlando again, or if not play Lopez.

Good choice. That would be my pick. With Lopez and Dobbie the potential changes at around 70 minutes if required.

Clinical Finishing Needed

I might play:

Kuszczak
Bruno - Greer - El Abd - Bridge
Bridcutt - Hammond - Crofts - Vicente
Buckley. Dobbie.
subs: Ankergen, Calderon, Lualua, Macca, Barnes, Dunk, Lopez
Travelling with squad: Harley, Orlandi, Sparrow, (just in case Vicente gets injured on the journey)

After Barnes missing goals against Swindon and Macca squandering chances against Watford, I would not automatically think they deserve to be picked. In favour of them, is both players getting into position to miss chances in the first place.

Key olayers; Vicente (if fit), Crofts, Buckley and Bridge.

So, we need clinical finishing, so you are going to leave out the guy who has scored 6 in 4 games, to play a front pair of a winger, and a guy who doesn't look match fit?

I'm not sure I'd drop a player who has scored 6 in 4? Dobbie has done nothing in his (admittedly short) opportunities to convice that he is ahead of Macca. I also think that this will be a more physical battle than previous ones so would back Barnes to be back in.

Buckley may need a break though so We could have Dobbie in for Buckley maybe? This with a view to a rotating front 3...

I can't see the back 5 changing all season, unless we are forced to through injury. Drop Barnes to the bench after his show of petulance at Watford, and bring him on for CMS if we need to shore up a lead, as he can hold the ball up.

Interesting that most of the teams selected have only got one of the new players signed in the transfer window, that being Dean Hammond, who has been outstanding in his two games.

What a bench with new recruits hungry to get on and prove there worth.

I would make just one change for Millwall with Barnes for Orlandi, for one reason Barnes' defensive cover is greater and would give Bruno more of a chance to push on.

I do feel that at some time soon Dicker will drop down to the bench and we will see Bridcutt, Hammond and Crofts.

Sorry mate but that has to be about the daftest suggestion on here. Not sure how to explain other than you start well and end with a mare
