No self-respecting Brighton fan would give any credit to that bunch of scum from the wrong end of the A23, regardless of how well they are doing.
They are the enemy and as such should be the subject of total contempt at all times.
Do you think the Palace fans were praising us when we went top of the League ? Of course they f***ing weren't.

Yes, Bruno should also get a new a***hole ripped, Zaha and Bolasie alternate during matches, if one is having an off day the other one normally does enough to cause the opposition enough problems. If they are both on top form, f*** me, you're in big trouble...

And no, not deluded at all, just enjoying this season very much and defying the so called 'experts' in the media and on this site who had us down as relegation fodder. I knew deep down last year we had a decent side that was prob 2 or 3 players short of challenging this season but because we finished 17th in the end you lot got cocky and truly believed we were a pile of shit and nothing to worry about this year. If we can get a decent manager in to replace Greedman then we will be in or around the play-offs come May. You lot also have a massive delusion about your own team when in reality your gonna be top 10 at best, mark my words. Well done on Barnes goal at the weekend though, absolute stunner :moo:

But your comments about Bridge show you are deluded, I was apprehensive when we signed him but since he got he he has been immense he really is quality. Yes Palace are doing well but we all know football is a roller coaster we may not be firing on all cylinders at present as the story is a bit like yours a month ago when you were all moaning that Dougie was too negative guess what we think the same about the Albion currently. The teams are on an even footing for the first time in years and it makes for a much more exciting rivalry.

Yeah, I sympathise with your point ''hard man''. If it was the other way around I wouldn't be praising the weeds either. Still, it's nice to read nevertheless!! UTP.

TBH, I don't think there has been any Palace on here today shouting the odds .

Talking about shouting the odds, I believe the last one of your lot to shout the odds shouted 20/1 that Freedman wouldn't go to Bolton.

Anybody heard from the charity robbing, welching, low lofe piece of shit yet?

Of course it f***ing hurts.
I loathe your club and to see you on a good run and above us in the League cuts me to the core.
As I'm sure it hurt you when we were doing well.
However there's a long way to go yet and many twists and turns to come.

I am hoping that a new manager comes in and for one reason or another just does not seem to have the team playing well, players get sold, rifts develop, their board are found for financial irregularities and the get a 15 point deduction.

All this arsehole ripping, and you haven't won a single game by more than 1 goal this season have you?

Going against the predictions is one thing, but to think you have 7 players that would walk into our side, and we only have 2 that would get in yours - and that Bridge isn't good enough for you, proves you are deluded.

You were a pile of shit.

We are ripping teams apart in an attacking sense, that's why we are the 2nd highest scorers in the division and have scored in every League and Cup game. The attacking talent is there at the club and the new manager in waiting must be licking his lips. The main reason we are not winning games by a bigger margin is down to the defence but the fact that we play such attacking football means they are always going to be exposed at times. If the new man can tighten the defence a notch then we should be an even better side.

In regards to Bridge, I'm sorry but you lot are not the best set of supporters to judge a quality player, you've watched mostly lower league players over the last decade so a player like Bridge is going to stand out. As I said already, if he was that good why isn't he still in the Prem or at a top Championship club?

In regards to your point about us being shit last year; so shit that we took 4 points off your shower including a humiliating 3-1 dicking at the Amex, so shit we won at Old Trafford against a United side that had 9 internationals starting, so shit that we made the semi finals of the League Cup. Granted we took a noise dive in form at the end of the season but that was mainly down to fatigue and injuries to key players so that just tells me the squad was lacking in depth rather than lacking in quality and that has been addressed this season, we now have so many options it's unreal, even Jonny Williams can't get into the side and he is sheer class.

Your last point again is matter of opinion but I bet deep down you're not really as confident as your post indicates...

Like Portsmouth they should have gone bust and started again at the bottom, but that's all blood under the bridge now. If the new club really has learnt the lessons from the past and wants to be prudent then fair play to them, just proves it can be done. From a football perspective I hope they continue to flourish when the new manager comes in.

Thing is some of us mellow with age, others don't. I can't say I genuinely hate a football club, at 44 that seems a bit, well, childish. That doesn't mean I want them to do well and finish above us though, and I had a good chuckle when I heard Dougie had jumped ship. Similarly I'll be giving them plenty of verbal at this season's games. But that's where it ends for me. I don't feel the need to carry around contempt for them at all times, they're just another football club with another set of fans (some good, some bad), that just happen to be our rivals. At the moment they're doing very well and playing some very good football - I can appreciate this. They are also generating a decent atmosphere at home games despite not having 25k every game (20k odd who sit in silence pretty much until the last 20 minutes when they wake up and realise the team could do with their support too) - I can appreciate this. If you want to continue the pantomime rivalry behaviour into your every waking moment then that's up to you. I'm not going to slate you for it. It's just not my thing anymore now that the hormones have settled down.

This. Rivalry yes but credit where credit is due. A colleague is a palace fan and we exchange banter but credit is exchanged both ways. We are grown up and don't need the stupid vile abuse nonsense. But then we see that in the playground every day so consider ourselves above it.

What hurts me the most is that their line is being led by EXACTLY the type of player we need here and we actually let him go there

Good grief, you really have no idea about football do you?! Our squad is far from shocking, Zaha, Williams, Jedinak, KG, Delaney, Moritz and Murray would all walk into your side. Out of your players i'd take Bruno, CMS and Vicente when fit (i.e once in a blue moon!) that's it. The rest of the players in each squad are pretty much equal IMO.

In regards to the Delaney comment, he has been an absolute rock for us, since he signed we've gone 10 unbeaten winning 7 (and agasin't some of the top sides in this division unlike your shower who can only win against the teams near the bottom!) Yesterday we deservedly beat a team that had won it's previous 6 home league games and were top of the league. If you don't believe me, check out this thread on a Leicester fans forum:

Anyway boys, you keep on enjoying your 1 goal every 350 minutes and 3 points in 18, must be great fare!

I'm very surprised you wouldn't consider Bridge worthy of a place in your team. Also, I cannot fathom why Freedman left. Very, very strange and there must be a good story to tell.
