I see Delaney and Ramage scored for them today. Both shocking players as are most of their squad (other than Murray and Zaha). It's a complete mystery to me how they are doing so well.

Really ?

I think it's a thing called team spirit .
Delaney is playing so well, I think it says a lot about Paul Jewell that he thought he was worth releasing.Ramage is a typical old school type defender, not spectacular, but effective, again playing out of his skin.
The appointment of our next manager is crucial to continuing our good run, but there is no doubt that there is a growing feeling amongst us that maybe, just maybe, we ain't such a bad team.

Agree that they are doing very, very well at them moment and that has come as a bit of a shock to them as much as us I think... however the good news is, despite their best run in about 80 years if we beat Leeds on Friday we'll be back in the PO spots and only a couple of points behind them.

The game in December should be great.

Yeah fair play they're doing bloody well and Freedman's departure hasnt seemed to affected them yet. It was touched upon on FLS last night by Clarridge, whoever takes over will be under a huge amount of pressure to maintain they're form I reckon they should stick with Lawrence and seek a new manager in the summer.

Hopefully they're improved form and our decline will be a lesson to the large number of knobheads on forums, facebook twitter ect that shouting your mouths and laughing at poor form has a habbit of coming back and biting you in the arse.

Claridge talks out of his arse ,pressure is being in the bottom three, fighting relegation. It's not often a managerial job comes up with the team in the promotion frame.
TBH, I don't think there has been any Palace on here today shouting the odds .

My mistake, I read it wrong .

I love having a good laugh at Palace as much as the next man when things are going wobbly for you, it's the way it should be (both ways). The mistake some of our more deluded fans have made though is that there is a gulf in class between the clubs. The evidence of last season, and this one so far, is that clearly there isn't. Arguably our attendances are the main difference, but time will tell how well our home support holds up should we stay in this league for a few seasons and the new stadium factor begins to wear off for some of the less passionate.

Good grief, you really have no idea about football do you?! Our squad is far from shocking, Zaha, Williams, Jedinak, KG, Delaney, Moritz and Murray would all walk into your side. Out of your players i'd take Bruno, CMS and Vicente when fit (i.e once in a blue moon!) that's it. The rest of the players in each squad are pretty much equal IMO.

In regards to the Delaney comment, he has been an absolute rock for us, since he signed we've gone 10 unbeaten winning 7 (and agasin't some of the top sides in this division unlike your shower who can only win against the teams near the bottom!) Yesterday we deservedly beat a team that had won it's previous 6 home league games and were top of the league. If you don't believe me, check out this thread on a Leicester fans forum:

Anyway boys, you keep on enjoying your 1 goal every 350 minutes and 3 points in 18, must be great fare!

We softened Leicester up for them.

Fair play. I tipped Palace as contenders last season as well as this. They style of play is difficult to counter and I think they will be in the reckoning as the season draws to a close. Not that I want Glen Murray back.

We might have to play them in the play-offs. As far as I can see it there is only one place behind Cardiff and on current form neither of us will make it automatically.

I won't be taking my hat off, but credit to them for their results so far.

You are deluded.

So you wouldn't take Wayne Bridge? That's laughable. You think you have 7 players that would walk into our side, but we only have 2 (plus an injured one) you'd take - no doubt you think you'll be 10 points above us at the end of the season. Care to put money on it?

Bridge is pretty much past it, hence he's at a smaller club like Brighton. 2-3 years ago he still had it but he really isn't anything that special and I back Zaha to tear him a new a***hole in under 5 weeks.

I stand by my comments about the squads and the table at present suggests I'm right. I won't put money on it though as I'm sure Uncle Tony will have a sulk and get the cheque book out again in January so it's gonna be close.

What a stupid thing to say. We watch him every week, and he's excellent.

I back Zaha to tear him a new a***hole in under 5 weeks.
Isn't Zaha doing that to Bruno in 5 weeks? Either way, that's irrelevant to whether he's good enough for your side, which he clearly is.

I stand by my comments
That's because you're deluded.

The trouble is the word IF is a small word with a very big meaning for us at the moment.

They are on form, like we were during our 5 win run. It's a tough league and there is no way they can keep it up. I feel that December 1st could be one of the biggest matches between us for a while.

Yes they are on form and beating the top teams on their 'run', we didn't.

Yes, Bruno should also get a new a***hole ripped, Zaha and Bolasie alternate during matches, if one is having an off day the other one normally does enough to cause the opposition enough problems. If they are both on top form, f*** me, you're in big trouble...

And no, not deluded at all, just enjoying this season very much and defying the so called 'experts' in the media and on this site who had us down as relegation fodder. I knew deep down last year we had a decent side that was prob 2 or 3 players short of challenging this season but because we finished 17th in the end you lot got cocky and truly believed we were a pile of shit and nothing to worry about this year. If we can get a decent manager in to replace Greedman then we will be in or around the play-offs come May. You lot also have a massive delusion about your own team when in reality your gonna be top 10 at best, mark my words. Well done on Barnes goal at the weekend though, absolute stunner :moo:
