So from 13/4, Durham have gone on to make a paltry 413.

Magnificent stuff. Let's hope he stays here permanently.

Meanwhile, with time no issue, Yardy has raced to 12 off 13 balls. Who needs attritional batting from your captain when you can play a CAMEO innings of around 23 and then have a cheeky day off playing golf instead?

Yardy isn't the captain though

34 - 0 in just over 6 overs.

I'm guessing it's 4 slips, 2 gullies in place. Value ofr your shots :)

42 - 0 off 7.2. We're scoring faster then New Zealand in the 1 dayer.

Exactly my thoughts, apart from mid on/off and fine leg saving runs there is a ring around that outside edge.

This is shaping up to be a PLUCKY* score, of maybe 300 ish.

*not remotely close to the target, but fairly respectable when you remove the context of the game.

Joyce out.

Bit of a blow but Nash is the man for this job.

Durham have about 84 overs in which to take the remaining 7 wickets.

72 balls per partnership to deal with.

Only about 24 of those deliveries will represent a serious threat. Surely our batters can deal with that.

Leesy is a shrewd observer of Sussex.

No longer talking about saving the match but whether it will be done by lunch time.
