Looking at the Burnley forum, they seem to think they are well covered in the left back position and they can't understand why they are signing Ward.

I think they may need a left back who score crucial goals....

May be a shorter contract though and he won't be first choice.He may fancy the same wages, longer contract at a club he has been at before and guaranteed to be first choice. I my be clutching at straws here bt it is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Yep, and also guaranteed game time, which may also effect international call ups, better stadium to play in, better training facilities, living by the sea, over getting some games in the Prem.

Not an easy decision.

Players aren't worried about any of that it's all £££££

Who in their right mind, if we are all honest, would take £3k less a week. Shame as I know for a fact his wife and him loved it down here but money talks and we are cautious to the extreme with the green.
