Looks like only Greer and Calderon.

Bruno apparently has a problem with his ribs.
Dunk - three match ban.
ElAbd - injured.
Bridge - injured.
Painter - injured.

Good idea to let Elphick go, Gus?
Good idea to let Hall go, Gus?
Good idea to let Cook go, Gus?
Good idea to let Vincelot go on loan, Gus? A midfielder who can comfortably play central defence or full-back.

Add to that to his failure to fight to keep Murray, his persistence with Barnes, his reluctance to play two strikers, his refusal to consider a Plan B when tippy-tappy isn't working, and I'm seriously doubting whether Gus is the guy who can take us any further.

Thanks for what you've done so far, Gus, and goodbye.

Someone on another post suggested Curbishley. Maybe.

Only 1 match ban for Dunk, isn't it?

Oh, and you can't blame Gus for 4 injuries at the same time.

ZZZZZ how are injuries his fault?

Bridcutt started his career as a left back, so he can play their comfortably.

Why would those defenders want to stay when would play a max of 180 mins over a season?!

We have 5 defenders unavailable at the same time. That's bad luck; it's not Gus's fault. I'd be surprised if many teams at our level had more than 7-8 defenders in their 1st team squad - these players still have to be paid a decent wedge whether they play or not.

ees complicated no?

You can't blame Gus for the injuries ..... BUT..... He is to blame for lack of cover in defence now, we should of never let them all go

But as already said Bridders started at left back and HAmmond has already played CB this season so I think these to will pop there

Or fingers cross defenders in the DS are sh!t hot.

And it's 3 for a straight red.

Whilst I agree Gus wont take us any further than this Division, suggesting Curbishley is as laughable as people suggesting Hoddle when the new manager discussion comes up. I mean, they are absolute dinosaurs, neither have done anything in league management for years.

Also letting Elphick and Cook go was Gus's decision, neither were good enough in the long term but it may have been useful to keep one of them whilst gettnig rid of a few of our mediocre central midfielders. Hall left of his own volition. He was never going to sign a new contract when he heard Spurs were interested, particularly after we naffed him about earlier in his career. You can't level that one at Gus.
