Quoted wrong post. What is their record signing today, I cba to read all through that thread.
Understood! God knows.....£800k plus a handjob to the player and his agent?

Where did I say massively extra? I said it was in lieu.
It's not the wages we didn't compete with, it's the signing on fee that Palace paid him. And Gus said "cannot compete" when he actually meant "won't compete", seeing as he's had no problem spending £500k on Hoskins, £1m on Buckley and is likely to spend another mill soon enough on another top striker. It was Gus Poyet who said he was getting massively extra :
" Albion boss Gus Poyet said: "We are getting close to a final decision.
"They are offering plenty of money and we cannot compete with that so it's difficult."
Quoted from Evening Argus 19th May 2011.
1st million pound player 1980 Kenny Sansom to Arsenal in a swap with Clive Allen from Crystal Palace. Straight swap, both players valued at £1m
1st million pound goalkeeper 1989 Nigel Martyn Bristol Rovers to Crystal Palace.
LOL That was 31 and 22 years ago respectively. Talk about playing catchup.
And all I will say is, we have NEVER been into admin....

Well if 'plenty of money' means an extra £ 500 pw then I'd question the reliability of your inside sources - this sounds like a smokescreen to ensure other members of your squad don't get wind of the real figure and start talking to their own agents, looking for higher wages themselves.
Well done for shifting a lot of season tickets for a brand new stadium after winning the leauge and getting into a proper division for the first time in years with no teams nearby to compete with for fans.....
Once the Chelsea, Utd, Arsenal and Spurs fans living in Brighton have had their fill of a crap season in the championship seeing a team comprised largely of unknown League 1 players, they'll not renew next term....
Let's see how many you take away with you shall we?
He's cost us f*** all![]()

You will be lucky to finish above 16th imho.
You will be lucky to finish above 22nd in my opinion, and I honestly think that. What are the odds for Palace to win the league, 80/1 or something? The bookies don't get it wrong.
He's costing you £1.5m plus bonuses, over the next three years.
Two of which he'll spend injured![]()
You are missing the point. Whatever we are paying, NONE of it goes to BHA.
