Technically... Muzza may have cost us even less than we think...

It was alluded to me that the sell on fee (£200,000) from the sale of Colin Kazim-Richards (Sheff Utd > Fenerbahce) ultimately may have paid for a large chunk of the Murray transfer..

Though maybe that was said to appease me!

And he will be scoring goals for us. He knew he was leaving for a bigger and better club.

With all due respect to Glenn, he's not really in the Andy Johnson ( or Bobby Zamora ) calibre of strikers ( and he's a lot older than they were when they made the step up the leagues ), so I'd be a little bit wary of saying things like that just yet, especially if he gets injured and loses some of his pace as a consequence.

He cost us nothing, if he gets 5 goals he will be worth every penny of that £0

Interesting piece regarding incoming and outgoing expenditure on players in the Argus today.

We bought Glen Murray for £300,000, we paid Rochdale an additional £1,000 per match for the first fifty appearances he made for us, then we paid Rochdale another £100,000 after we were promoted in April!

You forgot to add on the £500,000 for his replacement.:lol:

You will be lucky to finish above 16th imho.

I would be satisfied with that in our first season as long as all the qualities shown in getting promotion weren't sacrificed.

But it's NOT £0 is it, it's many many thousands a week he is costing you.

Typical palace, unable to get a grasp on reality.

Yes, but the cash is going to him, not you, he will get extra wages in lieu of a cash payment to BHA. Win win for all of us, oh except BHA :D

Palace boasting over a Brighton reject (Which is what he was, as we COULD have paid him the wages he wanted, but chose to go after other players......) skanks....

It's a great win for us because we can spend the money we've saved on SOMEONE ELSE, whereas you can't because you given it all to Glenn ( and you are paying over the odds for a league 1 player ), leaving you with LESS money to spend.
