I'm not a "Slade fan", I'm a Brighton fan. And I still believe that stability has to be kept for once.

It seems that the players are not capable, or not bothered, in playing to the standard we need. If that's the case and RS can't improve them, or get them to improve, we are in trouble!
Regards sacking RS - how many of the team today were his signings, and how poor were they?

the only stability is us playing crap and you talking shit

Me talking shit? Ah, because my opinion is different to yours, I see.

Well my opinion/theory of stability is only provable if we keep him to the end of the season. It would only be then that we would see if I am correct or not and obviously even I can see that currently through one way or another he is very close to losing his job.

I would love for you to put across a structured argument so we could debate this x

I'm sorry, but Slade has to go for me, it saddens me but if we can't even beat Oldham then we're f***ed next month. A fresh face at the top may invigorate this talented but underperforming team

Slead out

Just as Adams got lucky with Zamora, Slade got lucky with Owuso. Without him we would have gone down. Unfortunately we kept the wrong one.

I don't even know what the problem is though! I don't get it lol. We play well in patches, we have decent players- the decisions are generally sound during games (perhaps today excluded). I don't get why we're doing so badly. And to be honest, it doesn't seem like anyone does.

Maybe bringing in a new manager and the motivational boost that comes with it is the right idea. I'd prefer to stay with Slade and see which direction we go in as I don't feel we will get relegated but also I don't think anything else would/will happen this season.

I would disagree with that.

1. He didn't just get lucky- give Dean White the credit he deserves for bringing in a solution to our striking issues.

2. Slade changed how we played- and that wasn't even the usual "instant motivational boost", that was over time and after a lot of defeats. He made us effective in games.

3. Linked to changing how we played- he brought in the likes of Doug Loft and Tommy Fraser who, although often slated on this board, were huge in keeping us up.

So I would very much disagree that Slade got lucky. He organised the team, played to their strengths and Owusu merely benefited from that.

I am hoping that he will do it again!

Mate, take a look at the Table - 4th bottom , with Southampton about to pass us after making-up the 10 point deficit.

Now I may be wrong, but I have a strong belief its the back room that needs looking at rather than the manager, he needs a lieutenant type no.2 with coaching "Expertise".

Again, I may be wrong on this!

Sorry I didn't seem to make myself clear. I meant what the problem is with our team and why we are in this position. Today we hit the bar twice, had an open goal with Nicky Forster which he put over and had around 18 corners and set pieces. On the whole we dominated possession. I do disagree with some of his selection choices but at the same time I see why he did it- he just wanted to keep a clean sheet, keep it tight and with Bennett, Forster and Dickinson you would expect us to score.

The point I attempted to make which you clearly misinterpreted was that I don't see the problem with the process of training through to the end of a match, because something is going wrong.
