Is it possible to be unlucky for a whole season? I think we may be trying to prove that it is. I've advocated giving Slade time but you'd have to be a moron not to hear alarm bells ringing. Is the job too big for him?( I know that may sound ridiculous but I doubt he's been anywhere else with as much pressure to get it right quickly). He must be very close to getting the sack now.

Have agreed with your views all season regarding the team being entertaining and the belief that things will come good in time. Find myself agreeing with you again. Think he now has to go as he does not seem to be able to get a relatively good squad to produce the results that a better manager might. Shame but it's the reality.

This club is like groundhog day. The names of the manager change, but everything remains the same.......we are still sh*t

Kev,

The way I see it is that the club and the supporters are looking for Championship football whilst the team has few, if any, championship footballers. The result is a big management problem.... for anybody.

I think we missed a trick in not getting rid of White/Booker when finally appointing Slade. Now I wont say that they are bad coaches as I simply dont know. Infact Booker has his coaching badges, so technically he is a good coach. But in away its not the point. The players may have stopped listening.

The players need coaching. Slade/Coppell/Wise or whoever cant coach all by themselves. So that needs addressing and pretty quick.

What I dont understand is why Slade didn't change the set up? Thats maybe the biggest mistake he has made. One that will probably cost him

If we are to sack the manager, then we really need to do the thing prpoerly. New manager and his team. A big shake up.

Also, I think we are a big attraction if done now. We weren't a big attraction last year as any manager probably thought it too late to do anything and we would be playing L2. Who would want that?

But if its really a new manager, then yes I do believe that we can attract Coppell back. We lost him as a L1 side, not cos of what division we are in, but due to Falmer being a long way off.

Bloom has a lot of thinking to do

Absolutely right. I hate to say it, but I think White and Booker have cost both Adams and Slade their jobs. Just hope Coppell/whoever doesnt stand for it and gets his own man/men in.

I have loads of certificates saying I can coach, shall I be in the back room?

Coaching means so much more, knowing your team, understanding how they take on information and adapting styles to suit individuals, usinf effective questioning techniques to find out what is stopping someone perform, being supportive....the list goes on and on!

I would like to see how the coaching is done and what impact it has on the team!

I do not want Slade out, I want things changed whatever it is as it is not working...FACT

I am very much with Bluejuice.

I believe we should accept that we are not an attractive club for a new manager and the expectations of whom we might attract are way off the mark. Alongside this is the fact that Russell has the best part of a two year contract which, if terminated, will likely cost the chairman a good six figure sum.

As I have posted before I expect Russell to have until Christmas at least. He should have that anyway. Hopefully the forthcoming matches against, at least on paper more challenging teams, will motivate the players and some results will follow. These teams are not worldbeaters, that is why they are in this division.

Every new game starts 0:0 with everything to play for.

Utter horseshit.
Not an attractive club at all, with a £93 million stadium on its way and a wealthy investor backing the club.
We don't need worldbeaters, we need League One beaters.
Slade does not deserve until Christmas because we could be all but down by then.

There is no point in changing managers as even Ferguson could not make up the points to secure promotion,so lets forget this season and dream next year will be better,it could hardly be worse.
