Seagulls Over Burwash Update

Just come in and reading this thread leaves me somewhat dismayed. As you can see I am a so called newbie on here and have taken stick from some of the guys in here for also daring to post a few threads. I am also a new member of the Seagulls over Burwash group. These guys are doing great work not just trying to get new recruits to the Seagulls arranging coaches and transport but also fostering and encouraging participation by the Seagulls in our local schools and youth groups etc. Frankly they need all the support they can get and I think sometimes the attitudes demonstrated in here today are somewhat distorted and stink. I am not suprised they want to leave. No doubt some will climb out the wood work and suggest that newbies like me are not really welcome in here either and should follow suit. (unless of course I have accummulated more than a 1000 threads). For the record I have been an avid Seagull supporter since 1989. I have not been a STH as couldnt handle the open sky over Withdean. Has this made me less of a fan - nope not at all in fact I would say to the contrary. Also for the record I have become a 1901 member and have seat in the East Stand. I am looking very much forward to being part of a huge supporter group filling the Amex week in and week out. Thats what we all want. So guys time to give some slack here and recognise that there are groups Like Seagulls over Burwash that need our help and support. Someone needs to sort this out.

Have you actually read it - there's nothing bar praise for the efforts that have gone on.

(I'm ignoring the very obviously sarky comments, because no-one would take them seriously, would they?)

It was a joke based on the comments your post was getting.

You and your group are free to piss off of NSC completely if you like though.

My very last post, I certainly will "piss off" as your moderator suggests, bye bye NSC, it was good knowing you...

Any post that is edited shows as such in the bottom left hand corner of that post, it shows who edited it as well

Not thread titles though.

And in what circumstances do you? Or believe that you should?

I personally will only edit a post if it requires it, by that i mean if i am asked or if say a word is innapropriate, not always does it require a ban, removal etc, moderating is exactly that, remove the word/s, have a quiet word with the member and it does not require bans and silly things like that, I have done it quite a lot recently and have had thanks from the people concerned and assurrance they wont do it again............if any of them read this i am quite happy for them to back me up.....................the one today required it as a members last name was mentioned in a thread and he wanted it removed, i did it for him, sent him a PM and he sent me one back thanking me.........happy days :)

Having read all of this thread, a lot of it as it happened this afternoon, who was responsible for editing post #9 from its original content?
