The American population should be distraught at this behaviour, given the past tensions. Putin must have something really damning on Trump for him to be so cap in hand to him all the time. When will they wake up, Trump is not acting on the nation's behalf and obviously has a personal agenda and will carry it out regardless of the results. It really has been a long 6 months !

Two Russian planes moved close to the US,where they feel safe. The replies are interesting...only 200 miles from international waters apparently

6,600 km from Ukraine you say?

It would be a hoot if Ukraine managed to still reach them ! Zelensky should have a competition with decent prizes for the first drone operator to manage it.

One of those Alaskan crab boats on the programme 'Deadliest catch' would be my method of choice. 'Sorry, we got lost in a storm'.

It's good. If there's a day without one, I really feel like something's missing.
Doesn’t anyone think it’s really concerning that these oil refineries being targeted in Ukraine and Russia is extremely destructive on the environment?

The environmental damage was bad enough when the Kakhovka Dam was destroyed

I find it hard to feel celebratory about any oil refineries being targeted in any war-zone by any side regardless of the military advantage gained.

As soon as there is a ceasefire the better. ☹️

Sure, it's bad for the environment, but they only drill it out of the ground because countries want to buy it... including the UK and EU sadly, buying refined crude from India who bought it from Russia.

There aren't many ways that Ukraine can defend itself against the Russian attacks (genocide) on it's civilians. Hitting Russia's oil storage is one of them.

Another reason to keep pressure on Russia to stop the war it started. Whilst the environmental damage is dreadful, if I was Ukrainian and fighting for the very existence of my country I’m not sure I’d care too much about any damage done in Russia.
