We are finally going to do something. A message to Moscow. Backs up the one Ukraine sent today.

"£1.5 billion to build six new factories to make munitions", to deal with Russian cyber attacks?
Having said that, we must be militarily self-sufficient because the US are OUT.

I wonder why Ukraine are leaking this footage?
Because it shows that you can fill an average looking truck with drones, drive to within a mile or so of a target and.... unleash hell !

It forces Russia to withdraw air defence and manpower deeper in to Russia weakening the Russian offensive. Nothing is safe !

Why would they? It's not like the US are giving loads of support that could be removed.
That's the point. Ukraine is no longer bound by any limiting decisions Washington may choose to make.
So they now make their own operational decisions and did not give the US the opportunity of a veto.
Instead they presented the US with a fait accompli.

A byproduct of this is that the US has lost the influence to control its own peace process. We kind of knew that Russia would ignore it, but it is a major advance for Ukraine to step over that threshold.

How far Ukraine has come.

Because Russian FSB would work that bit out anyway, Ukraine releasing it humiliates Russia?

it also creates paranoia inside Russia that every regular truck (which cant all be policed) could be a trojan drone deliverer
It also showcases to the world:

1. Ukrainian creativity, ingenuity and indefatigability.
2. Russian vulnerability. The vastness of Russia is not a strength; it is a weakness, because Russia cannot possibly defend it all.
3. Ukraine's ability to win the war.
4. A lesson for all nations downtrodden by Russia. The lesson that Russia can be beaten.

There are reports that a nuclear submarine may have been turned into a reef in Severomorsk, the main naval base of the Russian Northern Fleet. The local governor has denied reports of an explosion, despite video evidence of a giant plume of smoke over the city

Unfortunately this looks have been inaccurate, as Anton Geraschenko has posted that this may have been in Olenogorsk, near the Olenya air base.

The following would lend credence to this:

The building opposite the camera in the second video above appears to this apartment block in Olenogorsk, which is direclty in line with the airfield on the other side of the river
