Yes. A very small one. Even smaller when you consider that it will be difficult to beat Chelsea & Man United with or without a new striker.

Ending the transfer window with only two strikers would be a risk.

Agree but it's harder still. As so many of the decentish options are already bagged, there's a real danger what you're left with is another Locadia, Wesley, Haller, Joelinton, Samatta...... All of whom would add a number to the ranks, but f*ck all else.

Will a proper 10+ goalscorer be sitting there towards deadline day, and be willing to come here above all other options?

We're playing relegation russian roulette!

Only "proper 10+" goal scorer that any PL club signed this summer is Timo Werner.

We signed Maupay with only a few days to go before it shut in the last transfer window.

Honestly don't think we'll sign a striker till the end of the window or after we've bought a left wing back in.. Gonzalez possibly and he's not an out and out forward and will be expensive so we might have gone cold on him. Wilmer Barrios is the only other name I've seen mentioned with half creditable sources and he's a defensive midfielder. We'll most likely start the season with what we've got. Fully expect Jahanbaksh to be leaving, Gyokeres out to Swansea on loan for a season, Andone to be sold when fit again so surely we will bring atleast one forward player in at some point.

This thread is in danger of becoming as boring, and monotonous, as the Ben White/ Deluded Leeds threads. Could this be because many of the same boring, monotonous, posters seem to be monopolising this thread?
If they were to take a step back from trying to convince everybody that they are the font of all knowledge, and wait for the club to publicly announce its transfer business, they would have something tangible to discuss.

It’s a forum mate. That’s what people do, discuss and chat about news, rumours and all things Albion.

Seems like pretty good discussion going on here with lots of good NSC contributors. So what’s your problem? Someone forcing you to read?

But as you seem content to be the self appointed thread police and advise what others should do and say, then please do "bore off".

Ah, the last minute panic buy. Could happen. Seems no other PL team is interested so even more possible once we get desperate.

Jebus, do you actually live in Findon ?
Because judging by that, you clearly do....

In answer to your post, this is tangible, and a possibility.

I personally think it might be time for your afternoon nap...:lolol:

Looks at FindonFans post history. Nothing but “NSC daily naps” every day.

Fascinating contributions mate. Take your own advice maybe. Thanks.

Yes. Let's shut NSC down between all official club announcements.
