I reckon this flag theft could make the national papers.

So on what grounds do you assume it has been stolen ?

Wish I had a car - Arthur and I would be there in a flash helping you look....

Surely its an asset of the charity, and presumably insured by the charity

REMF don't own the flag - in fact I don't think anyone actually owns it as such since the cost of it was raised by supporters who, at the time, were chippping in to buy a Giant Flag. It was some time later that the flag was dedicated in Rob's memory. I also doubt that REMF have insured it but Uncle S would know better than me.

As for it being stolen, I rather doubt it and to be honest, it's more a case of collective neglect that has contributed to its disappearance.

I meant if it had been stolen, it would make the nationals. And some nice paper would launch an appeal to fund a replacement.

I have no involvement with the disappearance of this flag.

It is if an away member has got it and not a season ticket holder...

Sorry.

Perhaps it has been removed by a "blue" member ?

Right now we need the flag. Not a load of unhelpful press coverage about a non-existent theft! Especially if that coverage identifies the fact that we've lost the flag.
