Some of the 'loyal fans' now wanting our inept manager removed were those 'loyal fans' that saw the club through the Hereford, the Archer times and Gillingham.

What makes us less fans for wanting our club to perform better ??

Come on now, it's not fair to talk about things before LI's time! This is the first time he's experienced a bit of turmoil at the club (playhing wise) so I guess he's just doing the loyal supporter/we love you brighton we do/I'll swallow any old shit, me thing.

The sad thing is, we all want Brighton to stay up because we love the club. LI wants Brighton to stay up because he can then say 'I told you so'. This is the reason why the traditional good few results following a change in management (which woiuld probably keep us up) would be no use to LI. He needs us to stay up with McGhee in charge to gain any satisfaction from it. The rest of us just want us to do well, regardless. There is a world of difference.

EDIT It was the same with McCammon. We all wanted him to score a hat trick because we want the team to do well. LI wanted him to score a hat trick so he could say 'I told you so'. What was it? "I can't wait for McCammon to be running out in the stripes again, just to silence the whingers" or somethng similar?

However yesterday our shortcomings were revealed in all their glory, we had Kerry playing in our midfield, not his natural position and despite him giving 110% and being one of our better players it was never going to be enough.

I started a thread about Cippy and Mayo being picked in mid-field.
Not one person supported this pairing, a sentiment, which you seem to be siding with, having watched the game.

If you can see team selection's wrong, I can and so can virtually everybody else, what gives McGhee the God given right to tinker when you've thrown your hard earned at supporting what should have been our strongest team out there yesterday?

It's the equivalent of Knight chucking his toys around before he left.
