Rangers fans are thick. Full stop. You don't need to explain it, or give a reason for saying so. It's just the way they are.

Nevertheless, you seem to be talking about the thick-even-by-the-standards-of-a-standard-Rangers-fan thick Rangers fans ie the BNP/UVF bunch. Pretty much as bad as a football fan gets, in human terms.

Your generalisations are just as bigoted as those you seek to condemn you ignorant prick!!

not wishing to single out RANGERS for their thickitude- apparently it was only a couple of their fans who abused edu

the same player apparently received racist messages from celtic fans via 'twitter'

Taken from an article -

After the 4-1 defeat on Tuesday, Edu wrote on the social networking site: "Not sure what hurt more: result last night or being racially abused by couple of r own fans as I'm getting in my car."

Why write the whole message in good English except 'r' I've no idea.

Yeah, I've often thought that Fred West, Ian Huntley and Harold Shipman would have got away with it had twitter been about in those days.

For the sake of some broader colour on the scottish football supporting fraternity, some of Celtic's pizza box waving, BOTOB singing fans are no better are they?

The fallout of last years Rememberance Day tribute tells you all that we need to know about their support. The day when Celtic can hold a minutes silence (as oppose to applause) in respect of the British war dead will be they day we can say that ALL Celtic fans are NOT thick.

I won't hold my breath though.

Just out of interest Fergus. When you say "in respect of the British war dead" do you mean ALL those who faught and died for Britain in the last two world wars or just the white, anglo-saxon, protestant ones?
