maurice edu has revealed that he was racially abused by HIS OWN FANS after the game last night (even though he didn't even PLAY)

i mean, obviously racially abusing anyone is wrong, but doing it to one of your own players is just THICK (and wrong)

:mendoza: <----a rangers fan

Rangers fans are thick. Full stop. You don't need to explain it, or give a reason for saying so. It's just the way they are.

Nevertheless, you seem to be talking about the thick-even-by-the-standards-of-a-standard-Rangers-fan thick Rangers fans ie the BNP/UVF bunch. Pretty much as bad as a football fan gets, in human terms.

For the sake of some broader colour on the scottish football supporting fraternity, some of Celtic's pizza box waving, BOTOB singing fans are no better are they?

The fallout of last years Rememberance Day tribute tells you all that we need to know about their support. The day when Celtic can hold a minutes silence (as oppose to applause) in respect of the British war dead will be they day we can say that ALL Celtic fans are NOT thick.

I won't hold my breath though.

Surely there is a thick contingent amongst the fans of ALL clubs. To judge someone by the club they support is just as bigoted and stupid as to judge them by any other facet of their personality or make up.

Celtic are by far the worse. At least Rangers are pro British

The worst racism I faced during my time living in Scotland was from Rangers fans...so much for being pro everything that is British...doesn't always stretch as far as the English. Ironically most of my friends up there were Celtic/Hibs fans...despite me following Hearts...they really treated me like a long lost brother.

For this reason I hate Glasgow Rangers with a passion, my dislike for Palace/Pompey almost pales into insignificance in comparison.
