Christ. That's a lot to put on hold.

Last home game I met up with an old school mate who went through your same op a year ago and he was quite animated about 'retraining the bladder'. I guess if you can just drop all those liquids like that then, hasta la vista, maybe. If not, it would be instructive to know what type of liquid intake modification may be sufficient to minimize the night time need.

Oh, and heads up, I was told to f*** off back to my etchings after my last low PSA a year ago, but this thread reminds me I ought to proactively seek an update. Knowing my luck I'll be on the threshold and sent for biopsies again. But....it is what it is.

Best wishes to all you lovely boys. Up the Albion.
would you be surprised if i told you that 5 days post op i was in the local emptying my catheter bag into the bog in the gents much to the amusement of fellow patrons...?? you wouldn't be would you..:lolol:?

For each patient, doctors typically spend between 25 minutes and two hours working through about 100 scan cross-sections, carefully "contouring" or outlining bones and organs. But the AI program works two and a half times quicker, the researchers say.
When treating the prostate gland, for example, medics want to avoid damage to the nearby bladder or rectum, which could leave patients with lifelong continence issues.

Thanks Mike.
I'm using the NHS squeezy app to do pelvic floor exercises everyday, which helps a lot.
My waterworks won't be the same as before PC, but it's all about, as you day retraining the Bladder.
Not to leave going until the last minute, as your Bladder has a memory.
If you need to go then go.
The downside is that when I've done anything exercise related, together with the fatigue, I get stress leaks, from the tiredness, not stress.
Just dealing with it
Have a look at hypopressive exercises. Helps strengthen the core and pelvic floor via diaphragm & breathing techniques.

Hey thank you I will, sounds intriguing (y)

You're being a great source of info, Amex (soon to be @American ExpressStadiumRuislip?).
Positive vibes, helpful and encouraging us to get checked. 👍
I did Feldenkrais workouts last year and the pelvic clock might be good for you.
Trust your allotment is as beautiful as ever.

Yeh cheers for that, its all about education I guess ???
Only have done minimal growing up allotment, due to my fatigue issues, so cannot let Mrs AR do all of work.
Just pots, runner beans, courgettes and the resident fruit bushes. 👍
