Didn’t realise Paul Nevin was at West Ham - like him.

Emile Heskey and Graeme Souness seem to be wearing the same pumps.

I think West Ham will finish above us. They have a much easier run in and looking strong lately.

If West Ham do finish above us, it reduces the chances of Watford and Villa catching us as they've both got to play West Ham, Norwich also face West Ham. Realistically it's now 2 from the 3 of Villa, Bournemouth and Watford to join Norwich in the relegation places.

Not a terrible result for us

They could still finish above us but they’re running out of games

Agreed. I posted the below in the 'amazing the results have gone our way' thread, and forecast a draw for WH in this game...

Based on the following rules:

Versus current top 5: Lose
Versus six to ten: Draw at home, lose away
Versus bottom ten: Win at home, draw away

Where these teams play each other, I used the above rules for the team I thought was stronger, with the other team having to accept the result...

WHU have got some quality in their squad.

More fight than the other 4 clubs down there.

And a run-in they could - and should - gather a decent number of points from.

They’re staying up.

Now it’s just whether Watford can shake off a surprising degree of post-Restart torpor and ease away from Sockboy FC.

Or will the Sheff Utd ghost goal still have a role to play...

B’Muff & Norwich are sunk.

I think West Ham will hit 40 points.

So out of Watford & Villa for the drop.

This is how I see the table at the end:

Brighton - 40
West Ham - 40
Watford - 37
Villa - 32
B’Muff - 30
Norwich -25

So why have we had to suffer 5 minutes of close ups of the flags at Anfield? Not been done at any other ground

Please no YNWA

Edit - played extra loud FFS

Bit of a kit clash

Weird that Liverpool arent using there youngsters a bit more at this stage, I'd imagine they would be a bit more motivated.

Taking that gamble and potentially ending the season without any wins ... wouldn’t that be bad prep for next season and morale?

When Citeh win titles early, from memory I think they introduce two or three younger stars late in games when winning 3-0. Otherwise very easy to shatter their confidence.
