I don't think he would go, but why is everyone so quick to dismiss West Brom? Good squad of players already in place, unlike that lopsided mess at Aston Villa, plus West Brom are established in midtable and get decent crowds at home and have spent reasonable amounts in the last few summer windows. I actually think West Brom are the most attractive club currently looking for a manager, and by a long distance too. I wouldn't touch Aston Villa or Wolves, both in a bit of a mess.

We can dismiss West Brom because Hughton is now nailed on to get that job now Birmingham are staying down.

Haha, villa are in so much debt. Had a top 30 wage bill in the world last year I think too.

Sacking Mcleish won't be cheap? All articles seem to suggest Villa didn't declare contract length!

WBA would be a decent option for Poyet but could find himself back down in the Champ very easily. However his style is already adopted there which would tempt him in!

Wolves and West Brom a sideways step.ot

West Brom a sideways step  Yep we are def level with a team that has spent 4 of the last 6 years in the Prem, has a multimillion pound strong in depth squad more than capable of holding their own in the top division, quality stable foundations, great support for the last 20 years, and are earning millions in tv money every season. Yes that's sideways alright.

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
The WBA job would be ideal for GP though.

Agree with this, as they have "Albion" in their name . But the main reason that I think this might happen, is that our team featured two WBA players for most of the season, and only 1 Wolves player, and no Villains at all!

Very much this. If West Brom came in for him he would, in my opinion go.
