Portslade and the 'chav towns' of Sussex

I always though it was Station/Boundary Road.

Station Road (obviously Portslade Station side) was Hove.
Boundary Road (Forfars, Tesco) was in Portslade.

Might be completely wrong though.

It's the opposite. Boundary Road Hove is BN3.
Station Road Portslade is BN41.

And there's an ELECTRIC FENCE down the middle in case the shell suited gluesniffers from WESTSIDE try and cross over in to YUMMY MUMMIES buying, er, KFC and Pound Shop stuff.

On the Border
Minor post coding details, Boundary Road is West of Portslade Station! (just)....

Maybe but its still in Hove.

While it may seem odd, Station Road Portslade is the non station side of the boundary. This is probably due to the fact that when originally constructed the station was west of the level crossing. It was moved to its present position some time later but the road names remained.

It's not odd to me mate, I live 30 sec walk from the station!

Newhaven
Yup, twice the price of newhaven but I've not yet figured out why!

Portslade.

Next to Hove.
Nearer to Central Brighton.
Quicker on the train and bus to Brighton.
No incinerator.
No crap one way system.
No :censored: swing bridge holding up the already crawling traffic.

And don't forget Carlton Terrace - this is a road with 3 names. Exactly the same as Cat Stevens !:lolol:

I grew up in Crawley. It sucks massive balls. I hate the very mention of the place.

Really.!!

When did you grow up in Crawley and what parts are you talking about.?

All the people I know who grew up in the town during the 70s and 80s have really fond memories of the place.
Granted, its changed massively over the last 10 years and not for the better.Still ,growing up in the town a few decades ago was enjoyable.

Isn't everywhere, by definition, full of "ethnics"?

ethnic

ˈɛθnɪk/
adjective

relating to a population subgroup (within a larger or dominant national or cultural group) with a common national or cultural tradition.
"ethnic and cultural rights and traditions"

Oh. You meant "ethnic minorities". I see.

Crawley: nearly 80% white British population at the last census. Does that reassure or disturb you?
