Happily, in neither case, was there any contact with an Albion player !

These things are unfortunate for Palace but, hang on, we are short of two striker options or have I got that wrong. S--- happens.

Looks like he has done his ACL to me. Did it myself 18 months ago. Wouldn't wish it on anyone, even in this situation. Best of luck Glen.

Ironic he should suffer that injury playing in this of all matches. With him I dunno what to think, my head says "Fvck you Murray!" While my heart says "Fvck you Murray!"

His likely replacement in the second leg is Aaron Wilbraham. Here are his stats since 2006.

2006 → Bradford City (loan) 5 (1)
2011 → Norwich City (loan) 1 (0)
2011–2012 Norwich City 22 (2)
2012– Crystal Palace 21 (0)

Prolific.

Hate to see any tuff pro get hurt , truth is he's only got one goal on his last 10 games and palace looked better after he went off

Obviously it is a boost that he is out of the second leg but I like Murray and he has my sympathy as it looked like a serious one. Reminded me of Michael Owen when he got injured in World Cup 2006.

I found it strange that I involuntarily felt very sorry for him. Maybe there is part of me that still sees him as one of ours.

This. I definitely wasn't celebrating.

Dozens of players in the league have got injured this season, I didn't give a toss about them and I don't give a toss about Murray, the fact it means he plays no further part is a bonus though.

Worthing
Much as I dislike him I wouldn't wish him a ruptured cruciate.
