I agree that " Happy 70th birthday to Reginald from brother arthur and grandson timmy" doesn't exactly set the LETS BE EFFING AVIN YA! attitude...

Please also no "put your hands up for brighton....."

Fan zone and Ring of Fire generate a lot of noise around the whole ground. Without them, pre-match noise levels would be about as intimidating as a fluffy bunny. Like it or not, they have to be done tonight.

Do you actually go to games? The birthday wishes are done at half time, not before the game.

The Amex is fun-filled family entertainment, and kids love Fanzone. Like it or not, it's a permanent feature of the overall matchday experience.

Seeing as we never get the chance to ramp up the fan noise because of the effing circus of music and announcer exhultations right up until kick off I'm not sure how you can come to that conclusion?

I can guarantee 100% that there will be a cacophony of noise from the fans of both clubs before kick off if they'd just stop trying to make the whole thing a show and just leave us to build the atmosphere after GOSBTS.

This is little old England not the ****ing US of A

This is why the Amex is not intimidating , it's full of families not working class men who don't care what they say and are willing to shout out for their team.

Don't mind it. Only request, as mentioned above, is that they cut RoF before the whistle - rather than on it. Sky might force this, anyway.

So you have to be a man to be willing to shout out for your team? Or working class? And if no-one takes their kids along to games then where are the fans of the future going to come from?
