Something in his head then, worried about re-injury? He went past a man once yesterday, the first time I've seen since he came back. He always checks back & tries to find another player now. I feel he's nowhere near the player he was right now. Hopefully it'll come

Yeah, that's a fair point. He probably is concerned about re-injury...and remembers that Rudiger tried to halve him recently. Could be tough mentally for Lamptey in the next few weeks.

I think the fitness levels of our squad are generally really good, and that it is one of our strengths. However, imagine if our whole line-up had the motor of Cucu - that would truly be a frightening thing.

Quite easily IMO.

Penalty aside, kept play ticking over, delivered some great crosses as per……
Kept the right side fairly quiet with Veltman…..

Only average, (6 for me), but other than a shocking penalty was ok…..

Good set of marks, these. All the same for me, except MacA up to 8, and Lamptey up to 7.

Adam Lallana was the best player on the pitch, for the time he was on. Cucu takes it, for putting in that standard for the full stint.
