I wonder if he is in contact with his friends at the lane in readiness for 2015/16...perhaps even texting Tim Sherwood with some practical hints and tips on how to do a great job

I can understand your hatred, I have a lot of anger to Gus also, we were so close to the Holy Grail, but it was blown, and the general consencous is that his attitude was a lot to do with it.
But, IMHO you are talking a load of s**t. You wouldnt have the balls to walk up to him and smack him.
That manager changed the whole shape of the club. Like it or love it, he got us playing this system, Oscar has replaced him and carried on the continental way, and other clubs look up to us now as the model of football future
Gus got us out of the doldrums, got us playing good football, and if he had kept his gob shut and his ego under control, he would still be here.
So you might as well carry on licking The Albion Roars arse. By the way, I listen too and love the Albion Roar, but tonight you are IMHO out of order.

I am not sure I would agree with that.

You will have to explain what you mean here, not sure if you are having a go at me, Footsoldier or Gus, or all of us.

I was saying he wouldn't actually hit him if it came to it, some of us are not happy about Gus but saying they would hit him is over the top.
Did the:shutup: not give you any clue that I also didn't like what he had posted?

It's you

Poyet was the first Albion manager in recent times with a loosened cheque book. Whoopie doos he got us playing the ball on the ground. Stop being so fuc*ing needy, its what modern managers are supposed to do. Painful watching him teaching El Abd - T Elphick -Ankergren - play the ball on the ground. Seriously embarrassing in fact. But any hired hand outside of the Serial English Loser Managers Club would have done the same, or at least would not have done any worse. Poyet is a media whore which will generate him a certain number of hirings in this country. Don't make him a half-decent manager tho. Bloke's as unhinged as Di Canio if not more so.

Were you happy with Gus's input and attitude in the 2nd playoff leg against Palace?
You must be the only Brighton fan that was.

Good. Hope he gets relegated and if I ever see him in public I'd put one on his chin. Hate the bloke, I despise him with a passion. Never heard so much shit spoken from a mouth before.

not even from daveinprague?

You're still choked that he wasn't sacked by Boxing Day when you kept predicting it!! Btw Adkins had a bigger budget than Poyet but we still beat them to the title.

Does anyone think that Oscar would have come to a League One club in the relegation zone? Poyet got us promoted and established as a Championship club laying the foundations for Oscar to do his stuff.

Oscar was in no way able to pick and choose. Biggest best move in his career by far and an honest punt by the Albion. Fair play all round. As for Poyet, his managerial career will read one season sacked for gross misconduct followed by one season of relegation and there will still be mug chairmen queueing round the block to sign the muppet up. Meh

Yep, some people think that Poyet invented the passing game but passing is fundamental to football.

Also the tippy tappy football brand and reputation we had was earned in League One but ended up being a myth in the Championship.

We are playing a far superior and progressive passing game now with invention and allowing the players to express themselves without the strict Poyet ridged format.

Although we are not perfect yet, we are certainly tuning into what Oscar wants and it’s a pleasure to witness our development under him.

I think Oscar could pick & choose having guided Tel Aviv into the Champions League and been at Barcelona.

First 7 games 0 wins 1 draw 6 defeats - 1 point
Next 20 games 6 wins 6 draws 8 defeats - 24 points

Including a first cup final for 40 years and a cup quarter final. Ok, hate the bloke if you must but stop talking rubbish about the great job he has done at Sunderland. He will keep them up, no worries.

If he does keep them up it has been largely helped by the owners of Fulham and Cardiff making very poor decisions, IMO.

Completely forgot about him so will sit on the fence regarding who is worse

Major:bla: what ever happened to him and his Bulls shlt?

Poyet had Brighton playing some amazing football last season, remember we're fooking brilliant chant?
Palace going into the play offs were pants as you all know but ended up beating two of the best footballing teams in the Championship when it mattered,
It's a shame so many of you hate Gus now, I would have been happy to have him, unlike when Mullery joined Palace :censored::cry::shit::shit::shootself

It's more the way it happened mate. I admire ur analogy of the play offs though. As we know in football things can change so quickly
