Palace's soul? Druma, goal music, Ultras, Eagle's flying, Groupon ect.

At least we know where our home ground is, come on tell the truth. Who do you really support?

And there we have it, doesn't like all Palace fans being tarred with the same brush, tars all Brighton fans with the same brush.

Err, why? Brighton fans would NEVER accept GOAL MUSIC.

I think that's the point. Goal music, cheerleaders, whooa whooa, a kid with a drum drums and the like are all very Palace these days. Brighton just have a different type of support that comes from the struggles with Archer. But even so, I just can't believe just how far Palace have gone down the plastic, American style support. Must be a nightmare for proper palace fans.

The Palace style of football is back anyway with Pullis and long ball football. The palace 10000 plus glory hunters will be happy. The kid will bang his drum and they will all shout whooa whooa palace palace palace to celebrate

What I don't get is that there is some delusion within a certain section of their fans that Palace is somehow a special sort of club, which is in some way better than other clubs.

This comment, lifted from the BBS, for example, 'good luck and welcome to the best club you will ever have the privilege to manage'.

This really doesn't seem to fit with the utter gimpage that represents them on the internet - the sour-faced dullards who troll this forum for instance.

And what about the 'throat-slitters' in their support at Selhurst ??? , or those who broke into the press conference to abuse Holloway on air. And don't forget those ripping out seats and throwing them, injuring their own fans at Watford ??? Didn't a flare set off recently leave other fans requiring treatment ??? And the knifeman apprehended by police on a coach to an away game ???

Special club indeed - more of a disgrace :lolol:

You forgot allegedly incontinent coach drivers

Why would the coach driver be anywhere near the players dressing room? As far as I'm aware there are toilet(s) on the coach & he wouldn't be anywhere near the players preparing for a match?

Nobody will say on here what happened, but most people know.

Most supporters believe their Club is better than others but Palace are in a league of their own. They genuinely think they have the best supporters in the land and quite openly boast about it. They completely overlook the fact that they cannot fill their ground , despite regularly lowering the ground capacity, and they can't get a minibus of away supporters unless the game is in London. A noisy few hundred sad sacks styling themselves on Italian supporters seem to have blinded them to the obvious. They had less than 10k two seasons ago for a Championship game vs Bristol City.

In respect of honours they have won the ZDS Cup and play in a shithole. Not many ex-managers walk away from the Grim Groupon talking about the privilege of managing there , do they?

TBF Palace have their decent supporters like most clubs...they also have a few morons...like most clubs...we all love our own club and will do for evermore...56 years of my life has gone to the Albion...and as far as I'm concerned Palace are just another opponent...even if they are Nigels:sick::sick::sick:

Agree, let's be honest here, we all have good, bad, fair weather etc fans and I am
Not getting involved who is
Better, we are just the same, fans supporting our clubs. The only thing that does annoy we is this abuse that goes on by some people on here, it is pathetic, move on please. I gather that you are just kids or people who have not moved on from the bad old days. I love the rivalry, have 4 or 5 good Palace mates and we take the
Micky, but that is all. Does it matter who has got
More, better, plastic ? No it does not. Only thing I find difficult to understand is the abuse we got for clapping Gerrard ? Why not he is class and done England proud. I also know that the true Palace fans, hate the drummer, ultras and goal music ( love the eagle though), but as others like then they live with it, but they would vote against it. Please no more petty Posts please, it makes us look
Stupid and the palace fans that comment equally small minded.

Rant over

Surly the first team of people would be the kit men then first aid followed by the players once the kit was laid out then the management team, I can't see why a coach driver would go anywhere near a changing room. Or is history being conveniently re-written here??
