15" screen b&w telly to squint at tiny dalek invasions. The speaker burbled in the bakolite, and it took 3 mins to warm up.

Wringer instead of spin dryer, mum washed my clobber in the sink.

Condensation turned to ice inside the windows on frosty mornings, but fascinating patterns and scraped it with fingernails.

Milk delivered, cream on the top.

South Stand with wooden benches behind the lower terrace. Hot dog and a cuppa from the hut at the back of the East terrace.

1. Too few people putting in and too many taking out.
2. Since credit was made available on such a wide scale, consumerism took over, leaving people cash poorer.
3. Nationalisation of key industries formerly being run as a service has resulted in business leaders lining their own pockets.
4. The concept that "competition" leads to lower prices is a fallacy.
5. Politicians have failed to keep up to date with welfare reform resulting in its unaffordability today.
6. Number of people in the country is becoming unsustainable.
7. EEC is a farce. What was an idea to have some common framework for trade ithin Europe has become a ocial and conomic nightmare.
My list goes on!
